Inspiration
When this hackathon began, we were looking for ideas for our project. While discussing about ideas for our project. Chris mentioned that he was interested in making an informative website while Annie mentioned that she is capable of using coding to solve math problems. Eventually, since we were short on time, we decided to do a relatively simple project on variables in python.
What it does
This website is only a prototype that teaches users about variables in python and their uses.
How we built it
We built the website prototype using Figma. One of the pictures displays code that Christopher made for the website so that the user can see an example of how variables are involved in code. The code was made with a software callde "PyCharm".
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenges that we ran into was figuring out ideas for our project and figuring out how to use Figma. This is because we were all inexperience with using Figma and participating in hackathons. We also had some trouble communicating.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of making a website prototype that explains the concept of variables in python and how to use it.
What we learned
We learned how to use Figma to create a website prototype. We also gained experience from participating in the hackathon.
What's next for A Guide to Variables in Python
If we continue with this project, we can add more concepts in Python to this website prototype. We can also use Visual Studio Code to develop this website even further.
