Little yaps
we built a fake 2016 internet inside a fake chrome browser so you can search "ChatGPT" and watch google have a full crisis about it. google, youtube, twitter, vine, spotify, musical.ly, tumblr, myinstants, coolmath games — everything pixel-accurate, all stuck in 2016, all deeply confused by anything you actually care about.
Built with chatgpt for prompting, claudi (claude-kun) for code gen, and codex when claudi hit her usage limit and abandoned us mid-hackathon.
REAL sites
- Google — search results, 2016 UI, confused by modern queries
- YouTube — home feed, search, video player, live streams, real 2016 video IDs
- Twitter — full feed with verified accounts, trending sidebar, real 2016 avatars
- Vine — home + explore, every video has a 6-second countdown. RIP overlay when it runs out.
- Spotify — playlists, albums, radio, player, playing "Black Beatles" triggers something
- musical.ly — video discovery feed (yes, the tiktok grandparent)
- Tumblr — dashboard, posts, tags, all the cringe
- MyInstants — soundboard with actual 2016 sounds
- Coolmath Games — it's there. we had to.
