Inspiration
E-commerce assumes identity is static — you’re a ‘type of customer,’ and sometimes you are, knowing exactly what you want. But people often shop during moments of transition, novelty, and goal setting: moving, changing jobs, picking up hobbies, and building new habits, when they might not know exactly what they need.
What it does
ShopOut creates a different entry point into commerce for moments when you want outcomes, but are not sure where to start. Simply describe your desire to ShopOut, and you’ll be greeted with a 3D visualization of some products to consider, and the reason for their choosing. Anything catch your eye? Click each item to browse curated product listings. Finally, click view product to the merchant’s website to purchase.
