What's next for +1 Guardian: Automatically assigning chores to household members based on their abilities/traits (eg. only members above 12 can mow the lawn, members who have a drivers license can go grocery shopping) Making the website easier to navigate Challenges we ran into: Only one of us knew backend, which we struggled with because the rest of us did frontend. We also are not very experienced in website development so we had to ask for lots of help and research. What we learned: We learned how to make buttons in html and connecting pages to buttons. We also learned about flex boxes and changing the sizes based on other parts of the display. We found out about post requests and making calls to a web server. Inspiration We were inspired by how families go through struggling on who to assign to what chores. So, using this website hopefully families can make their lives more efficient and easier. What it does: One manager of the family inputs all of the family members to their system which then there you can assign chores to each person. Accomplishments we are proud of: We are proud that we all learned new programming content and were able to work with each other through our struggles. We created our idea and we really like the color scheme. Also, we had fun!
