STRAPT
The Payment Layer for IDRX — Fast, Flexible, and Trustless.
The problem STRAPT solves
1. Frictionless Crypto Transfers
STRAPT lets users send crypto instantly — via address, link, or QR — even to recipients without a wallet yet.
2. Programmable, Flexible Payment Flows
Stream salary over time, set up milestone-based payments, or send funds that can only be claimed once — all natively supported.
3. Trustless Drops for Real-World Use Cases
Send crypto like a voucher, giveaway, or salary using STRAPT Drop. Claimable, secure, and trackable.
4. Web2 UX Meets Web3 Ownership
STRAPT brings the ease of apps like Venmo, DANA, or CashApp — but trustless, permissionless, and onchain.
5. Activating IDRX as Onchain Currency
From payroll to peer-to-peer transfers, STRAPT turns IDRX into a true currency — not just a token.
Challenges I ran into
1. Walletless Claim Experience
Our vision was to enable transfers via QR or link — even for users without wallets.
But building a true "walletless" claim flow (e.g. via email or phone) onchain isn't trivial.
What we did:
We shipped the foundational flows first (link/QR transfers with/without password),
while designing a future upgrade path to support social login and custodial claim wallets.
This let us validate the core UX without blocking on off-chain complexity.
2. Payment Stream UX on Mobile
Streaming payments per second is cool — but how do you display it clearly on a phone screen?
What we did:
We iterated fast on a mobile-first UI: showing stream status, time left, amount unlocked, and pausing/resuming.
We prioritized readability and built-in trust (e.g. showing both sender and receiver views).
3. Gas Cost Management
Frequent small transactions (like streaming or mass drops) can add up in gas fees.
What we did:
We optimized smart contract gas usage, implemented batched executions,
and scoped gasless claim features as a Q4 priority.
We're also designing for meta-transactions to abstract away gas for claimants in the future.
4. Designing for Real People (Not Just Devs)
A lot of crypto tooling is made for devs or DAO power users — we wanted STRAPT to work for your mom or your intern.
What we did:
We stripped back the jargon, minimized wallet prompts, and designed flows like:
- "Send via QR"
- "Pay by milestone"
- "Drop to multiple users, no gas"
Crypto, but friendly.

Cheer Project
Cheering for a project means supporting a project you like with as little as 0.0025 ETH. Right now, you can Cheer using ETH on Arbitrum, Optimism and Base.
