Hi,   What is going on? Other things are created successfully, except THING_120573   JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Unable to create thing: THING_120573 : [1,002] Data store integrity violation error: [Error occurred while accessing the model provider.]   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Remarks, SpotlightSearch returns nothing, GetGhostEntities returns an empty array, however thing_model table contains a row with that name.   My Bests, Hung Tran

Thingworx is connected with two windchill - Here GBOM is in one windchill and Part BOM in one windchill. Is it possible to view the structure and additional details at the same time when we select the required one?

We have successfully migrated the existing PostgreSQL 15.3 database to a new PostgreSQL 15.3 server and established connectivity with the newly installed ThingWorx 9.4.0 environment on the new servers.As the next step, we need to upgrade ThingWorx from version 9.4.0 to 10.0.Could you please advise on the recommended approach and best practices for performing this upgrade?For your information, ThingWorx and PostgreSQL are hosted on separate servers.

I have a requirement for taking IEC61850 data from an IED device into the Kepserver. After which i need Factorytalk view SE using OPC UA client to read that data. How can I go about it?

Kepware dooesnt allow for logical/logical non-blocking protocols for rockwell PLCs, when accessing Program tags. This means that if an OPC client needs to access program tags, the PLC needs to be setup with Symbolic addressing, which really slows down the R/W rates on the Kepware OPC UA server. Anyone faced this issue?

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.4 and DatecodeSP1 During installer inplace upgrade of thingwrox in windows with postgress as persistent provider. Do we need to stop the service of the existing TWX running ? I didn't find the specifics regarding this.

I have created a mashup and a number of services to create users from a mashup and give them a certain level of access.I am able to create and update user information as an administrator/developer.  However, I have attempted to create a user from a non admin account using my mashup and I keep getting the same error:JavaException: com.thingworx.common.exceptions.InvalidRequestException: Not authorized for ServiceInvoke on CreateUser in EntityServicesI have give all users permission to execute services for the users and read/write properties.  Are there any other permissions I need to add in order for the CreateUser service to function?  Thanks,Paul ​

We are running KEPServerEX​ as an OPC UA Client​ in a production environment to connect to an IGS OPC UA Server. The total tag count is around 6,000.The issue is that KEPServer frequently suffers from connection losses and reconnections, accompanied by socket errors. Simultaneously, when checking the tag quality via Quick Client (QC), the status shows BAD. Although performing a Reinitialize​ temporarily restores normal operation, the problem recurs frequently, leading to significant data loss. This instability has caused serious frustration for the customer.How can we resolve this issue?

Hello, I have a grid widget in Thingworx 10.0.1, and based on hyperlink click event I wanted to call a service. As I have multiple hyperlinks in grid, wanted to perform action based on column type. But when I am clicking on hyperlink in grid, this newly added event in Thingworx 10 “LinkClicked” event is not triggering. Any one implemented this? Hi,We are trying to make a hardware key work on Windows server VM running on HyperV. There is no USB passthrough, so we were thinking of DIGI AW02 hub or SILEX DS-700. Is this something that can work with HW license? Is there anything I should watch out for? I’m running KEPServerEX 6.18.

Hello, i’m facing an issue with KepserverEX6 not updating values according to specified scan rate (1000ms)  from a Modicon M580 PLC. Modbus TCP/IP driver is set, i’m using 241 tags, i use only one channel and one device. Instead of 1s i see values update roughly 5-15 seconds. There are no other clients in Kepware communicating to the same device, only one OPC UA client reads/writes the same data from localhost (soft-PLC installed in the same server where Kepware is). The same soft-PLC in parallel reads/writes data in a different channel (Simulator Driver), and there everything is okay. So i don’t think issue is coming from the soft-PLC. When i use quick client on the Modbus TCP/IP channel i also see data updating slow.Network card is 1gbit.  My channel settings that could affect the communication are following:Write Optimization :Write only latest value for all tagsDuty Cycle is set to 10Communication Serialization :Network Mode is Load BalancedEthernet Socket utilization is set One or

Hello PTC Community,I would like to confirm the expected behavior of the Kepware _System._NoError tag when it is referenced from ThingWorx.I reviewed the following support article:CS466164NoError tag value fails to update in ThingWorx when NoError tag is updating in Kepware Modified: 19-Mar-2026 / Last Seen: 15-Apr-2026As I understand the article summary, it states that:the NoError tag is updating in Kepware, but the NoError value in ThingWorx is not updating, the cause is that only the NoError tag is bound, and the suggested resolution is to bind a device static tag on the same Thing together with _System._NoError, ensure that the static tag completes its first scan, and then verify that the NoError value updates in ThingWorx.However, from my understanding, _NoError is a system tag representing the device communication state on the Kepware side, while ThingWorx is in the client position relative to Kepware.Because of that, the explanation that _NoError is not evaluated until a normal

Mashup Expression and Validator functions are not reliably storing changes to code as of Friday 5/29I open the function, make some change to the code within, click Done button to close the function editor, and when I reopen the editor whatever change I made has disappeared, reverting back to the previous value. This includes a brand new function created to test this bug. A new expression or validator created with Output = "test"will be simply a blank window after closing and reopening.I first discovered this on Friday 5/29 and again today and have tested and found the same bug in both Firefox and Chrome with the latest versions of both. Clearing browser cache and restarting had no effect. Closing all active edits in Thingworx composer and returning had no effect.This also occurs in a new, blank mashup as well as existing complex mashups.

For example, I have two columns, A and B, and I want to drag an image from column A and drop it into column B. As soon as the image is dropped, I want to call a ThingWorx serviceI have a few beginner questions:For this kind of requirement, should I create a custom widget / extension, or is there any simpler way to do it in a mashup?If I need a custom widget, should I build it using plain JavaScript or TypeScript?Does ThingWorx support this kind of drag-and-drop behavior out of the box, or does it need to be implemented as a custom extension/widget? If a custom widget is the right approach, are there any beginner-friendly examples or documentation for creating ThingWorx web components/widgets? In KB article entitled- Request Information to Enable Advanced Model Target Generation directs us to find the Expereince Service ID.  I have looked on both the hosting Vuforia server and the ThingWorx server for the log mentioned in the article.  I have looked in all the relavant thignworx logs I could find, yet could not find the IDAny other ways to find the Experience Server ID?
