The Product:
We are partnering with a global leader in consumer intelligence and trend forecasting within the Food & Drink sector. The company provides data-driven insights on sustainability, consumer behaviour, and global market trends that influence editorial strategy and commercial decisions worldwide.
The Role:
This role sits at the intersection of analytics and storytelling, translating complex datasets into compelling insights that shape global content and strategic forecasting.
Responsibilities:
● Provide high-quality analysis for Food & Drink and sustainability content.
● Analyse large internal and third-party datasets to identify emerging consumer and market trends.
● Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyse structured data.
● Generate actionable insights and growth opportunity recommendations.
● Build dashboards and visualisations to support editorial and commercial teams.
● Collaborate with global data and content teams to ensure consistency of analysis.
● Contribute to documentation, reusable code, and data best practices.
● Support sustainability reporting and trend bulletins.
● Present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
● 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
● Strong SQL skills (mandatory).
● Python programming experience (mandatory).
● Experience with Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.).
● Dash boarding experience (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
● Ability to translate data into strategic narratives.
● Experience within Food & Drink / FMCG / Consumer Insights domain.
● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Statistical modelling (Regression, A/B testing, forecasting).
● Experience with dbt.
● Experience working with sustainability or depletion/shipment data.
● Git version control.
● Experience working in Agile environments (JIRA).
