CAP COURSE

The CAP Course (Complete Accelerated Pistol Course) is built for a beginner all the way to advanced shooters that already have an understanding of how their firearm operates but want to take their shooting ability to the next level. Whether you’re brand new or looking to refine your technique, this course gives you the tools to grow quickly and effectively.

This course combines the core training blocks from our Pistol 1, and Pistol 2 courses delivering them in an accelerated yet easy-to-digest format. Each segment is structured to build on the last, creating steady progress without overwhelming students.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave the range as a confident shooter with solid fundamentals, improved accuracy, and the mindset to keep building your skills.

Who Should Attend

All skill levels encouraged! If you are unsure about where to start but have some experience shooting, this is the class for you!

Training Goals

By the end of the Complete Accelerated Pistol Course, you will have fortified the fundamentals of pistol shooting and begun to understand how to use your pistol defensively. This class instills the importance of training correctly and the importance of continuing to train often

What you need to know

This class starts promptly at 9:00am and ends at 3:30pm. Please arrive 15min before for check in and safety briefing.

Bring all firearms in bag or box. 

Keep all firearms in vehicle until after safety briefing and you have received further instructions.

What to bring

Eye & Ear Protection

Sunglasses or clear protective glasses are acceptable but please make sure they are safety rated. Electronic Ear protection is highly recommended!

Clothing

You must wear closed toe shoes on the range. Make sure that shirts are not low cut, no V-neck shirts or tank-tops. Also, make sure you have a quality/stiff belt for your firearm setup.

Quality Firearm

Quality firearms are important for a productive learning environment and also for safety. Please make sure all firearms are in mechanically sound condition before bring them to class.

Kydex Holster

High Quality KYDEX Holster with some level of retention is required. (can be non-locking but needs good positive tension)

300 rounds of factory loaded ammunition

Please bring an ammunition that runs well through your firearm.

Ammunition is not sold at the range.

Three or more magazines

Bring at least 3 magazine for pistol and 3 magazines for rifle depending on the class you are taking.

Optional but recommended

Light snack or lunch

Sweat towel and hat

Sunscreen and bug spray

Pen and paper for training notes
