Arctic World Archive invites you to deposit your most valuable data in our digital vault at Svalbard.

Here you have the option to register to either the virtual or physical deposit ceremony.

For those that are able physically attend, you can also find some practical information and links to book accommodation.

Please note that you are not required to travel to Svalbard in order to deposit your data. We are happy to perform the deposit on your behalf if you wish.

Practical information

Airport transport

There are busses outside the airport that will take you to the hotel.

Clothing

Remember to bring woolen underwear and warm winter clothes incl. warm shoes, beanies and gloves.

The program allows you some time to explore this arctic wilderness on your own. Please go to www.visitsvalbard.com to see the range of activities on offer and to make reservations.
