This project involved the development of a headless WordPress website for WXPN Radio, built and delivered by Eastern Standard. The goal was to create a fast, scalable, and modern digital platform capable of supporting WXPN’s content-heavy publishing needs while providing a seamless experience across devices. I worked on this project strictly in a developer capacity as part of Eastern Standard’s engineering team.

The site was implemented using a headless WordPress architecture with Next.js as the front end, consuming content via the WordPress REST API. The build focused on performance, SEO, and flexible content rendering, with React-based components mapped to structured WordPress content models. Emphasis was placed on server-side rendering and optimized asset delivery to ensure fast load times and strong Core Web Vitals, resulting in a highly performant and maintainable decoupled WordPress solution.
