DemoReel is a professional acting portfolio with your photos, reels and resume all on one page. We were founded in 2016 as an alternative to maintaining an actor website. Our custom template is the result of years of work with agents, managers and casting directors. We continually develop updates to deliver everything an actor needs to share their talent with the world.
Yes, you can make updates any time. Keeping things fresh with your latest headshots, reels and resume credits is super important.
Unlike most personal websites, DemoReel includes media hosting. Most actor sites require you host media elsewhere and embed links to add video to your webpage. We handle storing all your media internally on our servers. DemoReel is also maintenance free. You automatically get every updates as we add new features and make improvements.
Yes! Hundreds of agents and managers use DemoReel pages to pitch their clients. Some companies ask every actor on their roster to create a DemoReel page. You are giving your reps a gift by making it easy for them to send your material to casting.
There are a lot of working actors on DemoReel but it’s also a great place to get started if you are a beginner. Many members have gotten agents and managers by sending out their profiles! You are making it easy for reps to see all of your tools in one place. That’s a win!

You can link your social media accounts and IMDb in the Custom Links area. You can also link personal websites or your Actors Access.
You can upload as many reels as you want at one time. After uploading, you can change the video title, thumbnail and order. Use the video menu to add a specific thumbnail or choose a frame from the video. Clean titles and thumbnails make your page look more pro!
Once you create your profile it is technically public. As you add content, it is automatically posted to your live page. We recommend starting with your photos, reels and contact info. You can add your resume, bio and any press kits after you have the basics on your page.
You’ll want to have at least one headshot and video to get started. If you don’t have a reel or performance clip you can always start with a favorite audition video. That’s a great way to show what you can do while you are working on booking your first job.
You can generate a QR code or a link for your page with the Share Link button in the lower left of your live page.
Yes! The Custom Profiles feature lets you create links with specific photos and reels. Managers and agents use Custom Profiles to create pitches and send auditions with select reels and headshots.
There is a dedicated area for auditions in your admin area. You can upload your auditions and send them as private links to your reps or display favorite auditions as samples of your work on your live page.
We currently offer three plans: Standard, Pro and Max. All plans allow unlimited photos. The difference is in video storage. The Standard plan lets you upload up to 16 reels and 16 auditions of any length. The Pro plan increases your limit to 40 reels + 40 auditions. And the Max plan includes up to 100 reels + 100 auditions. Most of out members who use DemoReel to send auditions prefer the Max account due to the large storage capacity.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Your monthly or yearly membership will be prorated to ensure you are getting the best deal.
