Brokeback Mountain done with Legos! Hee!
Took the boy in to the doctor today to get his rash checked out. It's a normal baby thing. That and he has cradle cap. Poor thing is blothcy and scaly. My little monster! ;o) He's officially 7 weeks old today. And he weighs 11 lbs, 12oz. now! Wow! We had been guessing that he was at about 10 lbs. because he outgrew his newborn sized diapers. My little boy isn't so little anymore. *sniffle* I mean it's good that he's growing so well but it's all going so fast.
Yesterday I went to City Hall to pick up his birth certificate and then had lunch with Doug downtown. I left the boy with Doug for about 30 minutes to try and take a look around the Container Store. The canvas garment rack cover was out of stock but they did have a nice canvas 6 shelf sweater holder that I was going to use for scarves, gloves and handbags instead. The closet is shaping up very nicely. Slowly but nicely. The next step is to actually try on all the clothes and figure out what works and doesn't work anymore.
While downtown I stopped by Old Navy and found a cute pair of flip flops with cherries printed on the straps. I'm sort of looking around for high wedge espadrilles now.
Watching HGTV is pretty addictve. All the shows about reorganizing, redecorating and what to do with small rooms are positively addictive. I make mental notes on what to do with or rooms based on the shows.
In other news, we may have hit upon a heating solution fo the living room. Base board heaters. It just might work. I'll have to do some research on them but I remember that my sister and I (when we were 10 till 13) had a room with one and it was pretty effective.
