There’s a moment at the end of the workday when a choice quietly happens. One more email? One more Teams message? One more “quick thing”? Or… closing the laptop and actually switching off. 💻 Our recent internal survey made one thing very clear: our team is intentionally choosing the latter. And that matters. People are setting boundaries, disconnecting after work and creating space for themselves, whether that means spending time with family, going for a walk, exercising, reading, gaming, cooking or simply enjoying a quiet evening free from constant notifications.💆🍝 The important thing to note is that disconnecting is not a sign of disengagement. It’s the opposite. We think that says something meaningful about our culture: we hire whole people and we want them to stay that way. When your team feels free to truly unplug, they bring their best selves back to the work that matters.💫 That's the kind of workplace we're building: one where rest isn't a reward, it's part of how we operate.

Last week, leading representatives from the European TV and radio industry gathered at the egta 𝗖𝗘𝗢𝘀’ & 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘀’ 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in Vienna to discuss current developments and the future of the media landscape. 📺📻 Representing Virtual Minds Ricarda Jebsen, Dirk von Borstel and Hossein Houssaini joined industry peers to exchange views on key topics such as monetisation, advertising innovation and the challenges posed by a constantly evolving media market. The summit demonstrated once again how important personal exchange, mutual learning and strong partnerships are for the further development of our industry. 🤝 Thank you to the organisers and all participants for creating such a valuable platform for exchange and collaboration. The conversations and insights shared throughout the summit provided plenty of inspiration and we look forward to continuing the dialogue in the future.

There’s something special about Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Lions every year. Beyond the ☀️sunshine, stunning views and industry buzz, it’s the opportunity to bring people together and spark conversations that will shape the future. That’s why we’re excited to be joining the VideoWeek’s TV Rise Forum Meet Up on 23 June at the Marea Rooftop.🏖️ As Connected TV matures and the distinction between traditional TV and digital media becomes increasingly blurred, the challenges facing advertisers, agencies, publishers and technology partners are growing in complexity and fascination. Ricarda Jebsen, Dirk von Borstel and Hossein Houssaini are looking forward to hearing fresh perspectives, exchanging ideas and networking with other industry leaders who are helping to define the future of TV advertising. If you're attending, we'd love to meet you. See you there!👋

"Flexibility is not just a trend or a perk - it is the foundation of modern work." This is how our Managing Directors, Ricarda Jebsen and Dirk von Borstel, describe the shift that many organisations are still trying to navigate. At Virtual Minds, we didn't wait for the future of work to arrive, we adapted to it early. Because today, flexibility is not just about working from home 🏠occasionally or offering a few extra options. It's about creating an environment where people can perform at their best, stay engaged and build sustainable careers, wherever they are. A strong culture is often talked about but is harder to measure. For us, it manifests itself in tangible ways: consistently positive feedback on platforms such as Kununu, long-term employee retention and an average annual turnover rate of just 8%. 🤝These indicators suggest something deeper than policies alone: they reflect trust and stability, and demonstrate that our employees choose to stay with us. However, culture cannot be built on numbers alone. It is built on leadership mindset, clear values, and a willingness to rethink how work happens in the digital age. Are you curious to know how our Board views flexibility as the foundation of New Age Work, and what insights and resources support this perspective? Find out more below.

Have you ever launched an ATV campaign that looked fine but just didn’t deliver? 😒You’re not alone and it's usually not a coincidence. As a premium environment, ATV 📺offers significant potential, but it also leaves very little room for error. This means that even minor setup details, such as creative approvals, Deal ID alignment or overly restrictive targeting, can quietly limit delivery before a campaign has the opportunity to scale up.📊This is where things get tricky. Campaigns may appear 'active' without generating any meaningful impressions, while others run but underdeliver for no obvious reason. From our experience, these issues often stem from the same patterns. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the 10 most common ATV setup mistakes that tend to go unnoticed yet directly impact reach and performance. If you’ve ever faced unexplained delivery issues, this might be a good place to start.👇

Did you know that live content doesn't always stick to the plan, but your ad setup can keep up? Thanks to the latest update to the 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, broadcasters can now override relevant attributes for TV ads at the moment of recommendation via the Playout API. 📺This means that time-based targeting, content mappings, and tag exclusions are no longer tied solely to the original Booking API setup, but instead reflect what’s actually happening in real time. This is especially valuable in live environments, where things rarely go exactly as planned. ⚽️🎤Whether it’s a sports event running longer than expected, an award show shifting its schedule, or breaking news taking over, setups can quickly become outdated. By enabling on-the-fly adjustments, the Virtual Minds Media Manager ensures that targeting, pricing, and playlist composition stay aligned with the live situation. 📈No more playing catch-up. Your ad delivery moves in real time.

Remote work is often surrounded by strong opinions, assumptions, and headlines, but what does reality actually look like inside a company? 🤔Rather than guessing, we asked the people who know best: our team. 🤓Almost 40% of our employees shared their views on common myths about remote working and the results were both reassuring and insightful. The key takeaway is that remote work isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience. For most, it enables focus, productivity and collaboration. For others, it highlights the importance of in-person moments and spontaneous conversations. The truth lies somewhere in between but the most important thing is not where people work, but how teams stay connected, supported and empowered to do their best work. So, what’s a myth or a reality?👇Here’s what our team told us:
