Overview

Invent Penn State blends entrepreneurship-focused academic programs, business startup training and incubation, funding for commercialization, and university / community / industry collaborations to facilitate the challenging process of turning research discoveries into valuable products and services that can benefit Pennsylvanians and humankind.

Eligibility

The designated grantee is The Pennsylvania State University

Funding

Invent Penn State is established as a line-item allocation to the DCED in the adopted annual budget for the commonwealth with funding dependent upon budget recommendations and constraints.

How to Apply

The designated grantee will submit an Enterprise eGrants System application online to the Department for review and approval.

Appendices

The designated grantee should include an “Operating Plan” that is a description of the activities of the project.
