You do this by selecting the profile from the drop down menu at the top (step 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve selected the correct profile, click <strong>Delete<\/strong> (step 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This takes results in a pop up dialog box, warning you about what will happen with any unsent mail:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large screenshot\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"996\" height=\"706\" src=\"https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_5.png\" alt=\"Screenshot of the dialog box\" class=\"wp-image-11048\" srcset=\"https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_5.png 996w, https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_5-300x213.png 300w, https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_5-768x544.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 996px) 100vw, 996px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Basically, it&#8217;s giving you the opportunity to only delete the profile if there are no unsent emails from this profile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you click <strong>No<\/strong> here, then the profile won&#8217;t be delete if there are any unsent messages. However, it <em>will<\/em> delete the profile if there <em>aren&#8217;t<\/em> any unsent messages.<\/li><li>If you click <strong>Yes<\/strong>, then it the profile will be deleted regardless of any unsent mail. Any unsent mail will be automatically failed, once this profile has been deleted.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In my case, I clicked <strong>Yes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which closed the dialog box and showed me the previous screen again:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large screenshot\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"996\" height=\"706\" src=\"https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_6.png\" alt=\"Screenshot of the Manage Existing Profile screen\" class=\"wp-image-11050\" srcset=\"https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_6.png 996w, https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_6-300x213.png 300w, https:\/\/database.guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/delete_database_mail_profile_6-768x544.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 996px) 100vw, 996px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, now a different profile is showing.
