Fatigue. And my Heart is a Gaping, Raw, Open Wound.

I have not slept well all week. Add the stress of project deadlines and the Scavenger Hunt duties (fun, but wow on the timing), and you have a mixture for some amazing tilling up of DEEPLY buried wounds that are out in the Open and in my Face.

Worse of this ALL are my 'triggers' being right on top of my consciousness. we have all had them in one form or another at some time. It has been amazingly debilitating.

This a journey and process that must happen, for my healing and the future of me. But right now i am incredibly sore, tired, and have a head full of unworthy emotions, reactions and thoughts to just about everything. there is no logic to this, but it just is.

SO... if i have seemed a little off this week, that is why. if you have not noticed, then i am doing a grand job of holding it in.

I do ask for your compassion, truth, healing, and love.

I am going off to try and nap this afternoon , then try to regain a hold of my center, which at the moment seems completely shattered.

Returning to a Longer Form

Most of what I want to say or do seem to be in the longer form of narrative. Contemplating returnign here from the Book of Face, which like Camelot ... 'tis a silly place.

Hello Internet Peoples.

I have been keeping a low profile for a bit. It was nothing personal, but I just have had some major life changing events taking my focus recently, which I can talk about now.

So Hello… Just letting you know.

It finally happened. I have an actual non-academic gig in the game industry.

At the Game Developer’s Conference three weeks ago, I met the folks at Mechanist Games and interviewed on the show’s Expo floor with them. These past weeks since GDC has been a flurry of emails and Skype calls leading to today.

I signed my year contract as Lead Narrative Designer for the online game, City of Steam starting in May.

Oh, one small fact.
Mechanist Games is located in Xiamen, China.

Yep. I am moving to China. No Fooling. Seriously.
More Soon. (There is a NDA involved.)

Seems apt that i spent the first day of spring in San Fransisco wandering the Golden Gate Botanical Gardens. Especially since i forgot it was the first day of spring until i got there. Life is cool like that.

New Beginnings, Growth, Newness. Shucking old skin and habits. Bring on the change (gently and prosperously please.)

Coming off ranty? well, East Coast time is 2:15 and i am acclimating to west coast time.
