I have an actual non-academic gig in the game industry.<br /><br />At the Game Developer&rsquo;s Conference three weeks ago, I met the folks at Mechanist Games and interviewed on the show&rsquo;s Expo floor with them. These past weeks since GDC has been a flurry of emails and Skype calls leading to today.<br /><br />I signed my year contract as Lead Narrative Designer for the online game, City of Steam starting in May.<br /><br />Oh, one small fact.<br />Mechanist Games is located in Xiamen, China.<br /><br />Yep.
