Doctor Who

I've recently seen the Eight Doctor in his film. I thought it was very cheesy.
It was more the music that lead me to believe this, because of the Master. Every time it shows him, I just can't help but laugh. This is Eric Roberts acting skills. He gets better with age. Here, not so much.

The companion isn't much either. She's very trivial. But she does grow on you.

I understand why this wasn't the best thing for Doctor Who Fans to watch after it's hiatus after the Seventh Doctor.
Good news! I finally finished Season 7. I am now awaiting the anniversary special to Doctor Who. YAY!!

I went out to the events before the semester starts and my school finally has a Doctor Who FanClub!

YAY!!! I cannot wait to become involved in that. I am not sure how my time will be spent this semester. But I do know it will be all kinds of fun! :D

I have yet to finish the rest of Season 7, but hopefully I can before the Christmas Special. I was already spoiled and devasted when I heard that Matt Smith was no longer the Doctor...and I haven't finished all the episodes. I hope that can be fixed soon.

Once Upon A Time

This is my new fandom. I really enjoy the storyline as well as the acting. There is so much going on with this story. It takes you in and tells another side to each and every story from book of Grimm.

I recently seen another type of story called Hansel and Gretel. I am amazed to see how much it parallels the storyline of Once Upon a Time. I enjoyed both outlooks on the stories.

And if you didn't know,

THEY ARE TWINS!

I thought that was awesome. Jeffrey Renner is becoming something else. I enjoyed his performance in this one.

LiveJournal certainly has changed. I'm finally cleaning house. I am discovering that all the communities that I found that were my interests have completely stopped posting any information. Some go as far back as 2005. How did that happen?

It is now 2013. I can honestly say that I have survived 2012. It took a lot out of me, since I had to get to work at 7:00 AM. I had to fight to get to where I am at. Well, no one said it would be easy right? I do hope that this evening goes according to plan. I cannot explain how much it means to me that I can still go to school. Most people are already up to their eyeballs in debt, but they prevail on. Perseverance. I hear that word more and more often these days.

I find that if you all need any encouragement....DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS. Find what MAKES you happy and stick with it. Nothing is better until you find that, and everything else will fall into place. Good luck out there people. :)

Wow. LiveJournal has changed so much. Groups being deleted, everyone on edge with the all the stuff that is going on cyber wise. Life is life. It's 2012! Yay! I am hoping that this year goes really well. The world did not end, I guess that is something to be happy about. Happy New Year, although I'm two almost three months in saying that. Got over Valentine's Day. Whoohoo! lol. But it was still a pretty good one. Still at the same job. Yay! Still in school. I can't seem to stop at this moment, but I do know that I want to go to Graduate School. I hope that I find some awesome Scholarships.

Elisabeth Sladen

I was saddened when I heard of the news of Elisabeth Sladen. Shocked more like it. I had no idea that she passed away yesterday morning. It shows how much I haven't been online and keeping up with the fan community out there.

She will be missed. I loved her character Sarah Jane Smith. I hope the show honors her in a way that will leave her family proud.

Thank you Ms. Sladen for all your talent and for sharing it.
