DAMBE made by Prof. Xuhua Xia of University of Ottawa, perhaps then at University of Hong Kong, is super friendly software for molecular biologists. The software manual is freely available. The contents of the manual are very easy to grasp and intuitive. It seems you are talking with him. If you read the manual, you will be able to write an article in a month. The features of the manual include from molecular clocks to isolectric points to translation efficiencies to stop codons and many things I may learn in coming 20 years. Really superb.
