WHY WE BURN BRIGHTER...
There’s no shortage of beautiful glass in the world. What makes ours different isn’t just how it looks — it’s how it’s made, who it supports, and the experience of being here in the heat of the hot shop.

WE'RE SMALL-SCALE BY DESIGN
Every piece is blown one at a time in our hot shop — not mass produced, not outsourced. Our work reflects the rhythm of the studio: thoughtful, hands-on, and intentionally made. Subtle variations in form and color aren’t defects; they’re evidence of process, heat, and human touch.
100% OF PROFITS SUPPORT APPALACHIAN YOUTH
Part of Farms Work Wonders, every piece blown and every workshop booked supports paid workforce development for Appalachian youth. This is real work, real mentorship, real responsibility — in the hot shop every day.
OUR GLASSBLOWING EXPERIENCES ARE IMMERSIVE + APPROACHABLE
Step into the hot shop and feel the heat. Watch molten glass gather, turn, and take shape — or step up to the bench and try it yourself. Our crew keeps it real, keeps it fun, and makes the whole process far less intimidating than you’d think.
FARMS WORK WONDERS
Farms Work Wonders exists to ignite the spark in Appalachian youth so they see themselves and their futures in new and exciting ways. Based in Wardensville, WV, this nonprofit social enterprise is built on the belief that big futures can take root close to home.
Through its businesses — Lewis Farm, Wardensville Garden Market, Dakota Glass Works, Mack’s Bingo Kitchen, and Mack's Bingo Bakery — young people shape harvests, fire glass, welcome guests, and keep shelves stocked, playing a meaningful role in the daily success and long-term growth of each enterprise. The work is real, the standards are high, and mentorship runs deep, creating space to stretch, steady themselves, and grow without fear of failure.
As a nonprofit social enterprise, 100% of generated revenue is reinvested directly into supporting Appalachian youth and sustaining this work for the long haul.
