Agger ready to take his chance

Daniel Agger has spoken of his determination to re-establish himself in the Liverpool XI following Martin Skrtel's knee injury – but admitted his chance had come in the worst possible circumstances.
The Denmark international has started just two games this season, but despite his eagerness to play, he was gutted to see his close friend and roommate stretchered off against Man City.

Now, as the Reds wait on today's scan to hear how long Skrtel will be out, Agger is looking to leave sentiment behind and grab any chances that come his way.

"Of course I hope to get some playing time, but this was not exactly the way I wished to get it. I know Martin very well because I share a room with him when we travel," said Agger.

"I hope to get my chance and then I will prove that it's my place. On the other hand, it might as well be Jamie Carragher's place because I don't know why people only say it is me or Skrtel who are fighting each other for a place in the team."

Rafa Benitez last week responded to speculation about Agger's future by insisting the defender was not for sale.

The man himself is equally as determined to stay put.

"I have had to be patient this season and wait for my chance, I know how things are," said Agger.

"The team have been playing really well and the results have been great, so I couldn't really expect the manager to make too many changes.

"The only thing for me to do was get my head down and concentrate on getting as fit as possible, so that if an opportunity came along, I was ready to take it."

Agger missed almost all of last season with a metatarsal injury and has been squeezing in extra training sessions to get back in prime condition.

"When you have been out injured for 10 months, you know you are going to have to work really hard to get back into shape," said the 23-year-old. "That's why I have been putting extra sessions in at Melwood this season.

"I have been out there on the training pitch when the other lads have finished, because you never know when the call might come.

"It has been worth the extra effort, too, because I feel really fit and strong and ready to step in.

"There have been a few stories about me recently, but I couldn't be happier. I'm really glad to be a Liverpool player, and all I want is to play a part in a great start."

I think he looks totally adorable in the picture but most of my friends think he look sick :( So, I wanted to make a new entry with nice pictures of Danny, THEN i realised my picture of him is limited.

Does anyone know if there are audio/video files of Dan speaking Danish? Preferably video files? The only one I found on YouTube is of such bad quality that you can barely hear anything, and other than that I've only fould vids of him speaking English. :(

Okay, so I'm not too fond of cross-posting (so I'm apologizing for it), but I do need help.

I'm currently updating my Football Masterlist. I started it 2 years ago, but then real life got in the way, and I kinda neglected it. I'm trying to make up for that now, so this is where I need help:

It's a tough job to look for links/communities/websites on my own. There are so many players and football clubs out there, it's utopical thinking I could do this on my own. So if you could have a look at that list and tell me if there's a community/website that needs to be on there, please tell me. I just need some basic information, like the website URL/community link and a short statement on what the website is about.

I'd also love to get comments about broken links or anything that isn't right.

The masterlist will get a lot bigger in the next months, so I'll probably split up the links. The main link (see below) will remain, though.
