It may be too soon to do this since it’s early December but I thought it would be good to reflect on the past year already.

This is a summary of the work we did:

  • 12 new websites built.
  • Ongoing work on 4 web apps (3 in .NET, 1 in Laravel) that are used by three different customers for core parts of their organizations.
  • We took over website maintenance for 5 new customers. I’m proud of the fact that we can provide quick and professional service for our clients, and that they can trust us to be there when they need support.
  • Supported and built websites for 2 local agencies and 1 local freelancer
  • Worked on major projects on 24 different sites.
  • 16 projects were based in the Twin Cities, 10 in New Orleans, 4 in Houston, 4 in New York, 2 in Sacramento, and 1 each in Baton Rouge, Chicago, Phoenix, and San Francisco.
  • 9 proposals were sent out that did not result in any business. In most cases, we received referrals that weren’t the best match for us, where the customer expectations were different from what we could provide, our the budget just wasn’t there.

I’m quite proud of the work we accomplished. Big kudos go out to Evan Clayburg for joining the team as our new project manager, thanks to Evan for leading support and development on our WordPress sites. It’s been a big personal relief for me to be able to focus on specific aspects of our business and expand our ability to meet new challenges and support more customers. I’d also like to thank Jackson Kelly for helping us with our new website with his expertise in content and SEO to finally get it off the ground.

A big thanks for the rest of the team – Toby, Nate, Joel, Vadym, Yasir, Toby, Mateo, Liz & Danielle for their ongoing work.
