Ok....I'm driving back uup to Minnesota with my mate, and her car broke down in chicago x.x I'm currently sitting in a crappy Heritage Inn motel room.....and I need help. I don't know what happened with her car, it just suddenly lost power. battery is fine, oil is fine, coolent is fine.
it turns over when I turn the key, but doesn't catch. the I-DoT guy said the valves in teh engine weren't moving when we tried to start it, and suggested it might be the timing chain.
I need a car nut around the chicago area to help meeee ;.;

For 5 years, I was abused sexually, physically, and emotionally by my wife. Instead of reporting these things, I hoped that things would go back to the way they were the first 2 years of our marriage. We used to go out to eat, party, and invite people to our house. My wife then made friends who abused perscription drugs, and then began abusing them herself. She then offered a friend half of my life insurance policy to cause an accident that would potentially kill me. The result of this accident I lost the use of my left arm and developed arthritis in my right arm.
I fell into a deep depression. Several times I attempted to stand up to her, and was beaten, raped, or just threatened as a result. She abused my children and threatened to kill them if I reported her abuse to anybody. The whole time all I wanted was for her to get help and love me again. I finally gave up and told her I was leaving and divorcing her. She beat me, raped me, and went to police blaming injuries caused by her drug dealer on me. She lied in court to put me in jail, then she obtained a protection order against me with the same lies. While I was in jail, she took my disability checks and used them on dating sites, at nail salons, and possibly to buy more drugs with substantial cash withdrawls from my account. She is now attempting to use the same lies to prevent me from getting my physical property or seeing my children.
I will be filing for divorce and for custody of my children. I am afraid even with the witnesses of her abusing me and my children that the court system will continue to fail me. I would like to as for some help. I want my story to get out into the public eye. I would like referenced to lawfirms and organizations who would be willing to help protect myself and men who are in similar situations. Victimization is not isolated only to women. Men can be victimized too, and disabled men are exceptionally prone to it.

i didnt do it out of spite (for most of you), nor was it anything personal. i just dont feel we have anything in common anymore, or i feel we just arent friends anymore, whether we just grew apart, or we had an arguement that never got sorted out.
i hope nobody is offended by this.
if you want back onto my friends list.....well, it takes 2 to make a friendship. all of you i kept on my list, ive tried to remain friends with you, but i either never saw you around anymore, or we never talked. and dont just say its because i didnt initiate conversation, because you could have as well, had you cared to.

In the heyday of sailing ships, all war ships and many freighters carried iron cannons. Those cannons fired round iron cannon balls. It was necessary to keep a good supply near the cannon, but how to prevent them from rolling about the deck? The best storage method devised was a square based pyramid with one ball on top, resting on four resting on nine which rested on sixteen. Thus, a supply of 30 cannon balls could be stacked in a small area right next to the cannon. There was only one problem..... how to prevent the bottom layer from sliding or rolling from under the others. The solution was a metal plate called a "Monkey" with 16 round indentations. But, if this plate were made of iron, the iron balls would quickly rust to it. The solution to the rusting problem was to make "Brass Monkeys". Few landlubbers realize that brass contracts much more and much faster than iron when chilled. Consequently, when the temperature dropped too far, the brass indentations would shrink so much that the iron cannonballs, would come right off the monkey. Thus, it was quite literally, "Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey". And all this time, you thought that was an improper expression, didn't you?

bedamned cable is out again. so im on my backup dialup again....which might be disappearing, cuz we are getting charged for it now. hopefully its up and working tonight. if its not....dont expect me back for any long periods of time until after thursday, cuz thats when the tech is coming out to check our lines.
