About Me

Software Engineer with a strong research background in blockchains, privacy-preserving distributed systems, applied cryptography, MPC, and threat modeling. Nearly a decade of full-stack engineering experience, shipping and maintaining production systems used by hundreds of thousands of users. I translate rigorous security and trust models into implementable system architectures and tooling. PhD in Computer Science (expected 2026).

Experience

Gdansk University of Technology

Research Engineer (Privacy/Security Systems) 10.2020 - present

  • Built a trust quantification framework to compare distributed systems under explicit adversarial and collusion assumptions; formalized attacker capabilities, trust boundaries, and failure predicates to evaluate correctness, privacy, and liveness for sensitive services.
  • Developed Federated Distributed Key Generation (FDKG), explicitly motivated by liveness and trust-boundary weaknesses in classic DKG under adversarial network conditions; defined formal threat models and collusion scenarios, provided security proofs, and implemented Rust-based experiments to evaluate robustness under realistic failure and attack assumptions.
  • Designed and prototyped many privacy-preserving protocol schemes for sensitive services, combining blockchains with verifiable privacy-preserving computation, including Stellot — a privacy-preserving internet voting system on the Stellar blockchain.
  • Designed and implemented a Go-based Hyperledger Fabric chaincode and an experimental orchestration/evaluation module for a blockchain-backed industrial/IoT monitoring system.
  • Designed experimental LLM-assisted pipelines to support structured analysis of protocol/security artifacts.
  • Prototyped and evaluated privacy-enhancing ML inference / secure computation components (research prototypes and evaluation tooling).
  • Delivered university-level courses in Cryptography and Blockchain Technologies; supervised student projects and research prototypes.

stanbar sp. z o.o. (self-employed / founder)

Founder | Software Engineer (Full-stack / Mobile) 2014 - present (part-time since 2020)

  • Built and scaled a consumer mobile product (vapetool.app): 3M+ downloads, ~200k active users, 4.8 rating.
  • Owned end-to-end delivery and operations for consumer-scale products, including CI/CD, managed monitoring/alerting (Firebase/Google Cloud).
  • Delivered B2B projects including backend engineering for a cryptocurrency tax settlement app.
  • Led lightweight project management, vendor coordination, and commercial partnerships.
  • Developed and operated a delta-neutral AMM strategy (R&D / quantitative experimentation).
