Hello... gosh, I really need to clear away all these cobwebs and dust bunnies...

Anyway, I've started making things again, sort-of.

When I first converted the EA 'BahHaus' build set, I couldn't be bothered to convert the fence, but I've finally got my finger out and done it. And fixed a couple of bloopers. So, all the components of the set now have prices (sorry, no more free windows!). I've also realigned the diagonals for the two corner windows, so that they do now sit in the corner. Finally, I've also made centred versions of the two corner windows, because I wanted them. Et, voila!

It's finally time to share this!

What it includes:

1) Plain white base textures for quilted and plain bedding.
2) A PSD template with shading overlays, and some ready made sheet/pillow layers for you to mix and match with your own quilts/blankets.
3) PS actions (and written instructions) for creating seamless single bedding and your own sheet/pillow layers.

Please be aware that this probably won't be completely straightforward to use for beginners in PS. However, full instructions are included (in PDF form) in the download, and if anyone has any questions or problems, then please do feel free to ask me here. I'd be especially interested to hear about any 'bugs', so that I can fix them.

Some credit would be very lovely if you share beddings you have made using this Kit, but of course that's up to you.

Remapped and re-textured.

The door was textured using a blend of Goat's wood plus others, in colours from shastakiss's 'Yeti' palette and my own palette.

The cornice is textured in a small range of stone and wood textures.

Both have a slightly worn effect.

Santa Claus Is Coming to Town: Part I

Happy New Year!

The first part of my gift for the 12 Days of GoSmas is two companion lots, one community and one apartments.

The Village Cafe

This lot is intended to be used along with MogHugson's apartments and shopping on the same lot mod, so as well as a functional restaurant, there are five apartments, some in a better state of repair than others. The apartments are largely unfurnished. Of course, it can also be used as a community lot only.

The download includes the menu boards in both English and Simlish.

Bennet Place

Next door is a pair of Georgian houses that have been tastefully renovated into apartments.

There are four apartments, two of which are 'garden flats' with separate entrances at basement level and access to their own private courtyard gardens at the rear; all the apartments span two floors. These are minimally furnished, with mainly Maxis content.

Underneath the Arches

It's about time I posted this here...

I'm afraid I ddin't have the time to do my own preview (so I stole Cyclonesue's) or swatches, but screenshots of all the meshes are shown below, including the sliding door that needed to modify. There are also residential and community collection files included.

Everything should be base-game compatible, except the rail bridges and railtracks, which are fences, and therefore require at least one EP. For guidance and ideas on how to use all the individual pieces, please see Cylonesue's original upload on TSR.

I'm afraid I also didn't have the energy to make any of my own recolours, but all of Cyclonesue's are included. I've also uploaded shading overlays for anyone who wants to make their own recolours:

Please bear in mind that if anyone wants to make recolours that match the Maxis brick walls, then they will need to increase the brightness of the Maxis wall textures (probably via the TXMT) so that it all matches in-game.

As it says on the tin: this is Yumedust's 'Eye Love' eyes, on Pooklet's sclera, in a whole host of new colours (taken from my 'Nothing Like the Sun' edits of the same eyes, plus a few extras). These were made as part of a Wishing Tree request on GoS a few months ago, but of course with recent events they had been lost... until now!

I know Pooklet had already put Yumedust's original colours on their own sclera (still available at GoS), but because I'm picky about everything being consistent I remade the original colours for this set with a few slight edits to the iris that I had also applied to the new colours.

Last Day of Summer

Since nothing is too much trouble when it comes to shastakiss, and I would do (almost!) anything she asked, here is a little add-on to yesterday's post: the California Dreamin' summer-themed wallpapers with shastakiss's moulding top and bottom, for those with AL.

I jiggled the patterns a little on most of these, to make them line up nicely with the new moulding ('cause I'm funny that way), so I also remade the original wallpapers to align exactly with them. Just allow the new versions to overwrite the old, if you choose to replace them. (There's nothing wrong with the old version at all, but if for some reason you want both types of border/moulding and want them to line up, then grab the new version instead.)

Long time no see...

The mesh has both fat and preg morphs (both by the mystical one, and edited by me) - I just forgot to get a picture of them!

There are 12 formal wear colour options:

And 10 everyday colour options; being the old-fashioned sort that I am (and not being a fan of rampant cleavage for day wear), these all have a white camisole underneath (taken from a recolour of the Maxis flapper dress by Cosette, edited a bit by me):

I also turned the new mesh, and the Jet, Lime and Pearl formal colours, into a replacement for the original Maxis Nightlife flapper dresses (afbodydressflapper).

The Unbirthday Song

It's probably no secret that I think shasatakiss is altogether delovely, so when she asked me to make these meshes, and I discovered that it was her birthday, all in the same week, how could I resist? Unfortunately, I'm as slow as slow can be, so this is at least a month late, and probably more... so it's an unbirthday gift, for an unbirthday.

Included is my usual gold recolour for the frames. The meshes are slaved to Maxis 'Bella Squared' for the painting texture, but the frame texture is independent.

There are base-game (nothing special to say about this) and AL-friendly (will appear at the bottom of the wall when selected from the catalog and can be shifted to the desired height) versions included in the download; please select the correct one for your game and discard the other.

Since on their own the frames looked a little lonely, and as shasta seems to appreciate a cute print as much as I, I also made a handful of recolours of 'Bella Squared' to go along with them:

And then I just went mad, and made some additional recolours for the BV travel poster too (because I came across too many cute pictures that were unsquare, but that I wanted to use anyway!):

While I was making the new default and custom bedding that I posted yesterday, I noticed a few little things that bugged me about the two sets of bedding I had made previously. So, I have updated those two sets - mostly just in terms of rescaling the patterns slightly to fit better, and tweaking the shading overlay (which was a little off-centre before).

The original download archives have already been updated, but here are the files again - just redownload and allow them to overwrite the old versions:

Project Default: Secondary Phase

Feeling crappy today, suffering from my second cold in less than two weeks, so I'll let the pictures do most of the talking on this occasion...

There are two options for the sofa defaults:

1) Plain

2) Damask

There are two versions of the defaults. The first are simple texture replacements for the Maxis meshes, including the bath, shower and shower curtain - the white/silver combination is the default for the shower tub:

To complete the set, there are also custom recolours of the bath and shower curtain:

2) Two-tone baths (inside and outside of tub are different colours)

The second version is based on Amaryll's edited shower tub, the mapping of which I modified very slightly, as the clean state was bleeding onto the dirty state. The meshes for both the bath and shower tub have been replaced, which means that the rim of the tub is no longer separately recolourable. However, the advantage is that the whole of the shower tub (and not just the rim) is now fully recolourable, and picks up all the default and custom colour options of the bath.

I tried to keep to the spirit of the Maxis bedding, and where possible replaced like with like in terms of colour-scheme or type of pattern, but I like to think my selections are a bit more tasteful than theirs. ;)

I've had these 95% complete for a while now, so it was time I finished them off and uploaded them. Just to clarify, these are the 'basic' versions of the TS3 Late Night buildings - i.e. they just sit there, looking buildingish, and don't light up at night. However, there is also a bonus wharf building, two cranes (with flashy red lights on top!) and some scaffolding included.

We are still working on the lit versions, and they'll be ready when they are ready. ;)

In the meantime, enjoy!
