CuCalc program will help you to choose the section of cable or wire for a given power level, taking into account the voltage wire type and method of installation.
The program is implemented:
-Power calculation for single / three-phase AC and DC;
-Calculation of the current in power;
-Choice sections of the electrical conductors (wires, cables) for heating;
- A separate power cable sizing with impregnated paper insulation;
- Check (select) the wires and cables for voltage loss;
- Definition of active and inductive resistance of the conductor;
The program is designed exclusively for the primary assessment of the required nominal cross-sections of cables and wires. (Although for low voltage of these calculations is often sufficient to know about the heat and withstand short-circuit, overload protection, economic current density, etc.)
The software is provided as is. Using the program requires that the user has sufficient theoretical knowledge to select the cable on the heating and voltage drop.
The objectives of the program is to assist in determining the cross section cable or wire out of the office (on the objects in the field, retail outlets and other places not equipped with PCs with special programs), using a mobile device.
