Raising the bar
One of my coworkers (cow orkers?) and I were talking recently about technology advancement. For those who don't know, the work I'm doing now is web-browser implementation for cellphones.
We realized that our target hardware today has nearly the same capabilities -- cpu speed and memory -- as the hardware that the original NCSA Mosaic browser ran on.
Except, of course, that Mosaic 1.0 did not support forms or tables, or the Document Object Model, or Javascript, or CSS....
