Or if you want to go in a lighter direction, cute moments with Barry would be awesome as long as they're platonic. Iris and Barry were more or less raised as siblings, so them as a couple creeps me out a little.

Since the show did ultimately reveal Abigail's fate to us, something exploring her life between her disappearance and her death would be awesome.

Alternatively, back story from before she met Henry would be interesting. I also would say no to flashback moments with her and Henry like what the show gave us.

Assuming that after Henry's "it's a long story" he actually tells her the whole story, I'd like to see how Jo copes with knowing Henry's secret. Case fic would also be awesome.

In cut dialogue from one of the Cabinet Battles, Jefferson inquires after Angelica. So she was one of the ladies he was acquainted with while in France. It would be interesting to see how that played out. Presumably Angelica was already married to John Church, but considering that she was in love with Alexander, I'm not sure that she'd let a little thing like having a husband stop her (aka one of the few times I'm okay with infidelity). Or you can just make it an intellectual thing - after all Angelica did day "And when I meet Thomas Jefferson, I'm 'a compel him to include women in the sequel!"

Elizabeth "Eliza" Schuyler Hamilton

Poor, poor Eliza. She lost Peggy and Philip in 1801 (based on real history - the musical makes it before the election of 1800), Alexander in 1804, and Angelica in 1814. Eliza herself lived until the ripe old age of 97, dying in 1854. I'd love to see a look at her life during the fifty years she outlived her husband, especially the things she mentioned in "Who Live, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story." I'm okay with muddling the musical and actual historical timelines a little. The youngest two Hamilton children were conceived during the time between the Reynolds Pamphlet and Philip's death (Eliza was pregnant when Philip died), so real Eliza presumably forgave Alexander faster than musical Eliza did.)

I'm a sucker for AUs where Claire lives. It would also be interesting to see her and Jack's relationship from her perspective.

Maybe something from early season 18 when she has to transition from working with Jack to working with Mike. Or maybe something revolving around "Jersey Breakdown," the SVU episode she was in.

I do not ship Connie/Mike. However, I do ship Connie/Lupo and to a lesser extent Connie/Ed. If you go the SVU route, I wouldn't be opposed to Connie/Barba, but I see that more as a friends that occasionally fall into bed together type of thing as opposed to a serious relationship.

Winter Solider-centric fic would be awesome. I feel like out of the movies we see her in, this is where her badassery really gets to shine. We see her when Fury "dies" and then the next time we see her is when she's infiltrated the STRIKE crew and rescuing Steve, Nat, and Sam. What was she up to during that time? How did she infiltrate STRIKE with nobody noticing.

I think it would also be interesting to see something from her POV when Steve gives the order to blow the helicarriers even though he's still on one of them.

Natasha Romanoff
I love to see fic set during her early days at SHIELD.

During Winter Soldier, Nat managed to put on stylish clothes and straighten her hair after they showed up at Sam's. I'd love to see that explained - especially why Sam has a flat iron.

In Civil War, Natasha let Steve and Bucky escape, but what if she was more overtly on Steve's side the whole time? I imagine a few things might have played out differently.

After Natasha's last scene with Tony, we don't see her again for the rest of movie. Where is she and what is she up to?

Peggy Carter
Peggy is the original badass lady, so give me more of that. They condense so much of the SSR hunting down the Hydra bases into such a short bit of movie, so I'd love to see that expanded on. I would be especially awesome if that final battle wasn't the first that Peggy was out in the field.

Sharon Carter
I'd love to see something from Sharon's point of view from when she's first assigned to protect Steve. As a Carter, I'm assuming she heard stories about Steve Rogers the man and not just Captain America as she was growing up. What was her thought process about having to lie to Steve about who she was - concealing not only her true identity but also her relation to Peggy. When Steve asked after Peggy's funeral, she told him that she never told Peggy about this assignment, not wanting her to have to keep it secret from Steve, so it would also be interesting to see something relating to that.

Even though we don't see it, we know there is some interaction between Sharon and Steve between Winter Soldier and Civil War. When she speaks at Peggy's funeral, Sam is the one that recognizes her first. And that was literally the first scene the two had ever been in together, so obviously they had met each other off-screen. So what I would love to see is a look at what Sharon was doing the past two years. You can bring her interactions with Steve and Sam into it or just leave it with her.

At some point, someone's going to realize that Sharon is the one that gave Steve and Sam their gear back. And that is potentially very bad for both job security and her freedom. So show me what she's up to after that scene. Does she go on the run too? Does she go back to Berlin and try to cover up the evidence? She also told Steve where to find Bucky, so depending on whether or not she gets found out before or after they know Zemo set Bucky up, she could be in some real deep shit if Ross gets his hands on her.

Characters I Headcanon as Jewish
Howard Stark
Explanation of Howard as Jewish headcanon:
The MCU version of Howard grew up on the Lower East Side, which was something like 80-90% Jewish at that time.

Given the political climate of the 1930s and 1940s, Howard probably kept being Jewish a closely guarded secret. I can see Steve, Bucky, Peggy, and maybe Colonel Phillips knowing, but not anyone else. At least until he confides in the Jarvises, given that Ana Jarvis is also Jewish. I'd like to see something about how he maintains that cover and/or when or if he ever lets it drop.

I'd also love to see an AU where he wasn't such a shit father to Tony. (Be it because Steve never went into the ice, they found Steve sooner, or some other reason).

James "Bucky" Barnes
I love Bucky possibly more than any other fictional character ever. I'll try to keep this somewhat brief because I could go on forever.

Explanation of Bucky as Jewish headcanon:
Hydra was the Nazi rouge science division. That means Hydra were also Nazis - at least during WWII. And we all know what the Nazis felt about Jews. My thinking is that Hydra experimented on the Jewish soldiers - if it didn't work and they died, no loss; if it did work, then they'd kill them. Had Steve not gotten there when he did, Bucky probably wouldn't have been alive much longer.

1) Backstory fic. We know he was the oldest of four and BFFs with Steve, but we don't know much else about pre-war Bucky.
2) Bucky has some psychological issues from being experimented on by Hydra that Peggy and/or Howard help Steve hide so that Bucky doesn't get sent home.
3) Bucky and Steve make it home from the war intact. What does Bucky do in this post-war New York? Does he join the SSR and then later SHIELD? Or does he do something completely different.
4) Post-WS AU where Bucky is reunited with Steve without the death and destruction and drama of CW.
5) Post-CW fic when Bucky is awakened from Cryo.

For 1940s era fics I ship every possible combination of Bucky, Steve, Peggy, and Howard - including the threesomes and foursome.

For current day fics, I ship pretty much every possible combination of Bucky, Steve, Nat, Sam, Sharon, Maria, T'Challa - including the threesomes and moresomes.

Tony Stark
Explanation of Tony as Jewish headcanon: Given that I headcanon Howard as Jewish, that makes Tony at least half-Jewish. If Maria Stark was not Jewish, Tony isn't either as far as Orthodox and Conservative are concerned. But I was raised reform, and as long as Tony is a practicing Jew, Howard being the only Jewish parent is good enough for them.

I'd love to see something with Steve and Tony talking about Howard. The version of Howard that we see in Cap 1 is a version that Tony never got to know and that makes me sad.

I'd also love to see an AU in which Tony finds out the truth about his parents in a way that ends up far less violently. While he didn't know that it was specifically Bucky until that moment, Steve had been sitting on the info that it had been Hydra for two years, which was a bit of a dick move on his part. I'd like to think that if Steve had done the right thing and told Tony what he had found out, that Tony wouldn't have gotten so violent on Bucky.

Post-CW fic would be awesome too. Tony has a lot to deal with in the aftermath of everything.

Aisha Campbell

I'd love to see something after her time on the show. When know she stayed in Africa after her Zeo quest and sent Tanya back with the crystal, but we don't know anything more than that. What specifically did she do while she was there? How did she keep in contact with Rocky and Adam? Does she ever return to the United States? If so, what did she do?

Kimberly Hart

When I was eight, I totally pretended to be Kimberly. She and Tommy were my first OTP before I even knew what an OTP was. And when she left the show I more or less went "screw this" and stopped watching. So really you can do no wrong if you give me Kimberly fic.

In addition to Tommy/Kimberly, I also ship Jason/Kimberly and Adam/Kimberly. If you want to go the Jason/Kimberly route, please don't make him the guy from the infamous letter. While I understand why it made sense to break Tommy and Kim up from a logistics standpoint as she was no longer on the show, I found the letter to be a distasteful plot device. Also, I don't think Jason would be that much of a dick to Tommy. And in Zeo, they did give Jason a love interest, so I'm thinking whatever spark there would have been between Kimberly and Jason would have ignited after the end of Zeo and probably before the Turbo movie.

Anything after she left the show would be awesome to see - either her gymnastics training or what she did after her gymnastics career was over. (And teaching gymnastics is totally a valid option there.

Trini Kwan

NO CHARACTER DEATH PLEASE. I feel the need to spell that out specifically for Trini as I've seen a number of fics that reference her death in a little too much of an art imitating life kind of way. Thuy Trang's death obviously prevented Trini from making any more on-screen appearances, but she had departed from Power Rangers seven years prior, so I don't see why that has to effect her character in fanworks.

That being said, I'd love to see something from either Trini's time at the Peace Conference or after her departure from it. Did she (and Zack) leave at the same time as Jason did or did they stay longer? What sort of college/career path did she take? I'm a die-hard Billy/Trini shipper, but I do also read Trini/Jason.

I love Abby to pieces, so you can pretty much do no wrong here. I especially enjoy her father/daughter type relationship with Gibbs and brother/sister type relationship with Tony.

I'd love to see Hayley's backstory explored in more detail. We don't really know much aside from the fact that she knew Tommy pre-series and that she went to MIT - the latter of which made me fall in love with her even more as I was an MIT student when I first watched this season. I do ship Tommy/Hayley if that's something you want to run with.

Kira Ford
It could be interesting to see her life outside of Rangering during her time on the show. She mentions her mom at the very beginning, but I don't recall ever hearing anything about her dad at any point? Was that just an oversight? Or was it just Kira and her mom?

It would also be interesting to see a look at her life in the few years between the end of Dino Thunder and her appearance in Operation Overdrive. Or what we don't see during those episodes or the immediate aftermath - I'm sure Adam has plenty of stories to share about Tommy.

There's also her life after the PROO appearance - SPD did give us a couple hints as to how things turn out for her.

Kira/Connor is my preferred ship, but I'd be okay with Kira/Trent too if that's more your thing. Gen is also always awesome.

I think the stage version fleshes out Joanne's backstory slightly more than the movie, but there's still a lot we don't know. I'd love to see some more backstory on her.

Mark Cohen
I would like to see something exploring why he doesn't seem to like his parents much. Early in the movie he says something along the lines of "Sometimes I wonder why I stay here hungry and freezing. Then they call and I remember."

I would also love to see some backstory on his friendship with Roger. Future fic would be interesting too, though it has the potential to be super angsty because the clock is ticking for Mimi, Roger, and Collins. Normally I'm not a fan of character death, but under those circumstances it would be okay because we know it's coming sooner rather than later.

I ship Mark/Roger, but gen fic, Mark/Maureen (if you set it pre-canon), or Mark with an original character of either gender would be okay too.

Maureen Johnson
I would love to see something about Maureen's relationship with either Mark or Joanne from her perspective. We know that she cheated on both of them, but we don't know why she cheated. Not that there is a good reason for cheating, but it would still be interesting to see what's going through her mind.

I also head canon Maureen and Roger as childhood bffs, if that's something you'd be interested in exploring.

As she's not part of the cluster, we don't know as much about Amanita as a lot of the other characters. I'd love to see some backstory, especially since I love her mom and think she's awesome.

I adore Daniela, especially her unique relationship with Lito and Hernando. I would love to see something involving their lives from Dani's perspective.

Kala Dandekar

I'd love to see something post-season 1. Does she marry Rajan because it's "the right thing to do" or does she follow her heart to Wolfgang.

Nomi Marks

If you think that's something you can pull off, I'd love to see something involving Nomi transitioning. She definitely has the most interesting backstory of anyone on the show.

Nomi/Amanita moments are welcome too. Especially them putting their lives back together post season 1.

Riley Blue
I'd love to see Riley putting her life back together after Whispers is no longer a threat. I ship Will/Riley and Will/Riley/Diego if you want to go in that direction. Gen is cool too.

I would love to see more of Sun's experiences as a fighter.

Alternatively, I would love to see her get out if prison - either legally or via break out - and where her life goes from there.

One thing that I think would be super interesting would be a post-series AU where Tess lives. She and her brother are both alive - so to speak - but Lex has no memories and Tess would have to live with the fact that she did that to him. While her intentions were good, it's possible she did more harm than good. Without any of the early seasons Lex left in him (aka memories from when he was friends with Clark instead of being a huge dick), it might make him an even worse super villain than he would have been otherwise.

Alternatively, It would also be nice to see Tess's internal struggle after she learns that biologically she's a Luthor. Finding out that level of batshit crazy megalomania is your family wouldn't be easy for anyone.

This one plays heavily into the game's Civil War event. Bucky without his memories is clearly attracted to Natasha - I think it's partly physical and partly all the spy games. I'd love to see all those emotions and feelings dealt with in a teenage angst way and then resolved with the OT3.

1) An AU where Eddie doesn't die. Maybe along the lines of the very beginning of the season 2 premiere. I'd love to see how they navigate this unconventional relationship and if/how it affects Barry and Eddie's working relationship. Bonus points for Joe threatening Eddie over what will happen if he hurts his kids.
2) Eddie does die, but Barry runs far enough back in time and is able to figure out a way to defeat Reverse Flash that doesn't require Eddie's sacrifice. Does he tell Iris and Eddie about changing the timeline - again - or does he keep that to himself? What ramifications does that have?
3) They were an established threesome when Eddie dies. Barry and Iris are both grieving and trying to figure out what that means for them relationship-wise when *poof* Earth-2 Eddie shows up. Did he have the same relationship with Earth-2 Barry and Earth-2 Iris? Was he with just Earth-2 Iris? Or just Earth-2 Barry? Or did he not know them at all? Do Iris and Barry try to make Earth-2 Eddie their replacement Eddie?

I head canon both Bucky and Howard as Jewish, which is important to my idea here. I figure Hydra picked Jewish soldiers to experiment on. If they died, no big deal. If the experiments worked, they'd just murder the subject. So if Steve hadn't gotten there when he did, Bucky probably wouldn't have been alive much longer. There also could have been a lot more going on than just pumping him full of serum - torture, rape, etc - that's given Bucky some psychological issues that would get him bounced out of the Army in a second. Steve does his best to protect Bucky and make sure no one finds out, except that Howard does. It's only after Howard reveals that he's also Jewish that Steve and Bucky trust him and let him help. That then develops into something more.

Trust is something Natasha doesn't give easily. During Winter Soldier, Fury betrayed her trust by not trusting her enough to let her know he wasn't actually dead - I legit wanted to reach through my screen and hug her at her reaction to Fury saying he didn't know who to trust. But Steve saved her and his answer of "I do now" when she asked if he trusted her to do the same is what I think cemented her trust in him. tl;dr At the end of Winter Soldier, Steve and Sam are the two people that Natasha can trust (besides Clint, but he wasn't in that movie so he doesn't count right now). I think they'd also be the only people she'd ever let see her be vulnerable. All her covers are blown, assholes on Capital Hill are talking about locking her up, and she just helped take down her employer, so she's definitely in a vulnerable place. I'd love to see Sam and Steve being there for her in whatever capacity she'll let them and then she slowly lets them in more and more.

For Steve & Nat, there's Sharon nudging Nat about liking Steve during the CW event. Or you could use the hangouts from the Halloween event. Or pretty much any other interaction they've had in the game.

Sharon flirted with Steve all through the CW event, and there was clearly history between them before she showed up at the academy.You could use that as a starting point for backstory or take them forward from there.

I adored Kelly/Erin so much and was super bummed when they split up. Maybe an AU where Kelly has his shit together slightly better after Shay's death - or at least doesn't shut Erin out.

Will is from the South Side of Chicago which means that there's about a 99% chance he's a White Sox fan. And I headcanon Connor as a Cubs fan, because that's what I am. Given the amazing season the Cubs have had and the roller coaster the playoffs have been (I'm writing this between games five and six of the World Series), I'd love to see something where Connor's on the edge of his seat and Will is all *yawn* to which Connor goes "dude really?"

If you go the route where they're boyfriends, I'd love to see something with their colleagues finding out about their relationship. Or Jay finding out - I imagine that he probably heard Will complain about Connor a lot at the beginning, so he would definitely have a thing or two to say.

I'd love to see an AU where with Kelly's help, Erin's downward spiral after Nadia's death isn't anywhere near as bad as it was in canon. Given his own issues after Shay's death, I feel like he's the one that can come the closest to relating to what she's going through.

With the Erin/Jay route, I'd love to see something exploring them having to balance their relationship with working together.

I loved the snippets of Henry's life with Abigail that the show gave us. I'd love to see something along those lines.

As far as Molly goes, the last time we saw her, Henry wasn't ready to move on because there were so many unanswered questions about Abigail. But now he has closure, which enables him to grieve for her. I'd like the think that when he's finally ready, he reaches out to Molly because the attraction was definitely there.

For the gen side, anything with Henry and Abe would be awesome. I'd also like to see how he adjusts to Jo knowing about his immortality - or at least I'm assuming that's where that final scene was going.

Political Animals
Thomas "T. J." Hammond

I don't actually have any pairings suggested here because there isn't anyone in canon that I'd like to see TJ with. I want him to get his happily ever after - including eventual marriage and kids, but really it needs to be with someone that he's met after he gets his life back in order.

If the domestic fluffiness isn't your thing, I'd also be happy with something illustrating his journey from the point we last see him in canon to the point where he's able to start pursuing that happily ever after.

A couple crossover ideas - I won't be bothered one bit if you ignore this part, especially since neither fandom is in the tagset:
MCU - Steve/TJ is a guilty pleasure of mine. I really don't care what form it comes in as long as there's at least one mention of the fact that there's a resemblance between TJ and Bucky.
Conviction - Both TJ and Hayes are the child of a former president, have a mother with political ambitions, and have issues with drugs. I feel like the possibilities are endless.

I think it would be interesting to see an AU of how Oliver's life would have been different had he not been on the boat that day and hadn't been missing for five years.

Snippets of those five years also would be interesting to see. Even with all they've revealed, there's still so much we don't know.

It would also be nice to see Oliver get a happily ever after - he seems to exist in a perpetual state of angst. I ship Laurel/Oliver, Oliver/Tommy, and Laurel/Oliver/Tommy.

I'd love to see some sisterly moments between Sara and Laurel - either before the shipwreck or after they're united.

It would also be interesting to see Sara's time with the League explored, especially her relationship with Nyssa.

In flashbacks, we got to see a little of Tommy stepping into the big brother void that Oliver left behind with regards to Thea. I'd love to see a little more of that.

I also think it would have been interesting to see how it would have played out if the reveal that Malcom was Thea's father had happened while Tommy was still alive.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't even know that Spider-Woman existed as a character before playing this game, but I adored her from the second I recruited her. I'd love to see some pre-Academy backstory for her. Or just her and Nat being bad-ass.

Natasha Romanov
Nat is so many kinds of awesome in this game. I especially love her not-so-stealthy stealth tactics. I'm fairly certain she does most of it just to annoy Fury. I'd love to see someone call her on it.

I've also had her spending a lot of time on the "investigate invisibility techniques" task. So maybe she starts running around invisible causing mischief.

Steve Rogers
Something with Steve's obsession with continuously dancing the Charleston. During the events I'll have 3-4 quests with Steve dancing at a time.

Tony Stark
I love this Tony so much because he doesn't have quite the emotional baggage as MCU Tony (probably because he's younger). I'd love to see the story behind why he put a hot tub on top of Stark Tower. Or some hot tub shenanigans - either innocent or smutty.

Law & Order
Connie Rubirosa
Maybe something from early season 18 when she has to transition from working with Jack to working with Mike. Or maybe something revolving around "Jersey Breakdown," the SVU episode she was in.

I do not ship Connie/Mike. However, I do ship Connie/Lupo and to a lesser extent Connie/Ed. If you go the SVU route, I wouldn't be opposed to Connie/Barba, but I see that more as a friends that occasionally fall into bed together type of thing as opposed to a serious relationship.

Cyrus Lupo
We're far enough past the end of the series that Lupo has probably finished law school by now. It would be interesting to take a look at where he is now - did he remain a detective? Is he working as a lawyer? If so, is the with the DAs office or in private practice? I ship Connie/Lupo, Ed/Lupo, and Cutter/Lupo.

Ed Green
I'd love to see what Ed decided to do with his life after leaving the NYPD. I ship Ed/Lupo and Connie/Ed.

Jack McCoy
I love Jack so much that you could probably write a fic that's just him yelling at someone for being a dumbass and I'd love it.

That being said, I'd love to see Jack and Claire's relationship explored in greater detail. The show did a great job of giving us little hints without ever overtly stating it - at least on screen - but that meant that there's so much more we didn't see.

If you want to give Jack a happily ever after through a Claire lives AU, I won't complain.

As much as I love Jack/Claire as a ship, I probably ship Jack/Mike even more. I love the way they butt heads, but still obviously have respect for each other. I've been rewatching the last three seasons (for at least the fifth time) and there are so many little moments that make it seem so obvious.

A few bits of my headcanon for this pairing that you can use or not:
1) Jack was with Claire before Mike, since I ship both pairings
2) Claire and Mike were best friends back in the day as they were about the same age and some of Mike's comments indicate that he was there while Adam was still the boss. I imagine their relationship to be similar to Mike & Connie's. (this could also be included in a Jack/Claire fic if you want to go that way)
3) Connie knows about Jack & Mike before they tell her. And when they do tell her, she makes sure they know that she already knew.

A few possible plot ideas:
1) Jack and Mike are already in a relationship when season 18 starts. How do they navigate going from just colleagues that are dating to Jack becoming Mike's boss? What sort of impact does this have on their relationship?
2) Using Mike giving Jack the tie pin and the end of the episode after the police riot as a launching point for them starting a relationship. Even on ebay, that couldn't have been cheap for Mike to buy.
3) Any sort of look at their relationship outside work.
4) In SVU season 13, Mike refers to "the new DA" which implies that Jack is no longer the DA. How would their relationship be different once they are no longer working together? Assuming that Jack is retired (SVU season 13 would have been the halfway point of a four year term - I did the math), would he try to live vicariously through Mike by talking shop at home?

Or if you want to go the genfic route, I'd love to see Jack's relationship with his daughter explored.

For Jack/Mike ideas, see the stuff under Jack above. I also ship Cutter/Lupo if that's more your speed. Genfic is always awesome too. I think it would be interesting to see his transition from trying homicide cases to overseeing those that try sex crimes cases.

Dominick "Sonny" Carisi Jr.
I'm kind of interested in seeing something exploring Carisi deciding to become a practicing attorney instead of remaining a detective. It would also be fun to explore his NYPD career pre-SVU.

I love Bucky possibly more than any other fictional character ever. I'll try to keep this somewhat brief because I could go on forever.

1) Backstory fic. We know he was the oldest of four and BFFs with Steve, but we don't know much else about pre-war Bucky.
2) Bucky and Steve make it home from the war intact. What does Bucky do in this post-war New York? Does he join the SSR and then later SHIELD? Or does he do something completely different.
3) Post-WS AU where Bucky is reunited with Steve without the death and destruction and drama of CW.
4) Post-CW fic when Bucky is awakened from Cryo.

For 1940s era fics I ship every possible combination of Bucky, Steve, Peggy, and Howard - including the threesomes and foursome.

For current day fics, I ship pretty much every possible combination of Bucky, Steve, Nat, Sam, Sharon, Maria, T'Challa - including the threesomes and moresomes.

James "Rhodey" Rhodes
I've love to see a snapshot into his BFFs with Tony. Rhodey is to Tony what Bucky is to Steve, but we don't see enough of that. Or at least not in the movies I've seen - I've not actually seen any of the Iron Man movies.

Maria Hill
Winter Solider-centric fic would be awesome. I feel like out of the movies we see her in, this is where her badassery really gets to shine. We see her when Fury "dies" and then the next time we see her is when she's infiltrated the STRIKE crew and rescuing Steve, Nat, and Sam. What was she up to during that time? How did she infiltrate STRIKE with nobody noticing.

I think it would also be interesting to see something from her POV when Steve gives the order to blow the helicarriers even though he's still on one of them.

Natasha Romanov
I love to see fic set during her early days at SHIELD.

During Winter Soldier, Nat managed to put on stylish clothes and straighten her hair after they showed up at Sam's. I'd love to see that explained - especially why Sam has a flat iron.

In Civil War, Natasha let Steve and Bucky escape, but what if she was more overtly on Steve's side the whole time? I imagine a few things might have played out differently.

After Natasha's last scene with Tony, we don't see her again for the rest of movie. Where is she and what is she up to?

Peggy Carter
Peggy is the original badass lady, so give me more of that. They condense so much of the SSR hunting down the Hydra bases into such a short bit of movie, so I'd love to see that expanded on. I would be especially awesome if that final battle wasn't the first that Peggy was out in the field.

Sam Wilson
Backstory fic. I'd love to see how Sam ended up in the EXO-7 Falcon program.

I'm also curious as to why in WS, he just happened to have both clothes in Nat's size and a flat iron for her to straighten her hair with just sitting around his place.

Sharon Carter
I'd love to see something from Sharon's point of view from when she's first assigned to protect Steve. As a Carter, I'm assuming she heard stories about Steve Rogers the man and not just Captain America as she was growing up. What was her thought process about having to lie to Steve about who she was - concealing not only her true identity but also her relation to Peggy. When Steve asked after Peggy's funeral, she told him that she never told Peggy about this assignment, not wanting her to have to keep it secret from Steve, so it would also be interesting to see something relating to that.

Even though we don't see it, we know there is some interaction between Sharon and Steve between Winter Soldier and Civil War. When she speaks at Peggy's funeral, Sam is the one that recognizes her first. And that was literally the first scene the two had ever been in together, so obviously they had met each other off-screen. So what I would love to see is a look at what Sharon was doing the past two years. You can bring her interactions with Steve and Sam into it or just leave it with her.

At some point, someone's going to realize that Sharon is the one that gave Steve and Sam their gear back. And that is potentially very bad for both job security and her freedom. So show me what she's up to after that scene. Does she go on the run too? Does she go back to Berlin and try to cover up the evidence? She also told Steve where to find Bucky, so depending on whether or not she gets found out before or after they know Zemo set Bucky up, she could be in some real deep shit if Ross gets his hands on her.

Steve Rogers
I adore Steve almost as much as Bucky, so I can ramble on forever here too.

1) Backstory fic. Either snippets of a young Steve getting into trouble and Bucky coming to rescue yet again or something with Steve and his mom.
2) Steve and Bucky survive the war and come home in one piece. Does Steve continue to be Captain America and work for the SSR and then later SHIELD? Does he go back to his art? What does he tell people that knew him before the serum?
3) Steve adjusting to the 21st century. A hell of a lot changed when Steve was on ice and that's a lot to take in.
4) Steve finding out the Dodgers left Brooklyn for LA and feeling personally betrayed by the fact.
5) While on paper, Steve is 98, his body didn't age while he was on ice, so physically he's only 31. I picture him switching back and forth between acting like a Millennial and acting like an old man as it suits him.

For 1940s era fics I ship every possible combination of Bucky, Steve, Peggy, and Howard - including the threesomes and foursome.

I'd also love to see an AU in which Tony finds out the truth about his parents in a way that ends up far less violently. While he didn't know that it was specifically Bucky until that moment, Steve had been sitting on the info that it had been Hydra for two years, which was a bit of a dick move on his part. I'd like to think that if Steve had done the right thing and told Tony what he had found out, that Tony wouldn't have gotten so violent on Bucky.

Post-CW fic would be awesome too. Tony has a lot to deal with in the aftermath of everything.

Backstory fic. At this point we know nothing about Hernando aside from his relationship with Lito and I'd love to see more about who he is and what he does.

Assuming that Joaquin followed through on his threat to release the pictures, I'd love to see how Lito deals with that situation and how bad the fallout ends up being.

If you think that's something you can pull off, I'd love to see something involving Nomi transitioning. She definitely has the most interesting backstory of anyone on the show.

Nomi/Amanita moments are welcome too. Especially them putting their lives back together post season 1.

For the canon-based one, I see them getting together during season 2 after Sherlock's tactless reveal of Lestrade's wife's infidelity. He is minus a wedding ring in Hound of the Baskervilles after all.

For the AU-based one, they met during uni - either they went to the same school or two schools near each other - and have been together ever since. So in this case, Lestrade letting Sherlock consult on cases started because he's family.

Okay that being said, the season finale obviously needs to be reworked - or flat out ignored - for three of the four relationships. I'm fine if you still want to transfer Dodds out of SVU, just as long as he's still alive and well. If you go with Barba/Carisi, you can keep canon as it is if that's something you want to reference. Though there's no need to reference or mention it all if it's not relevant to your idea.

I like the idea of these two bonding over more or less being married to the job. (One of Dodd's first episodes comes to mind here.) Barba needs some information on a case and Dodds is the only one there because its ungodly late (or early). And then they start getting to know each other.

For these three, I really like the idea of Barba & Carisi already being an established couple and Carisi getting all jealous/insecure when Dodds shows up and it eventually turning into a threesome.

During Winter Soldier, Fury betrayed her trust by not trusting her enough to let her know he wasn't actually dead - I legit want to reach through my screen and hug her at her reaction to Fury saying he didn't know who to trust. But Steve saved her and his answer of "I do now" when she asked if he trusted her to do the same is what I think cemented her trust in him. And then Sam jumped into a fight that wasn't even his because a) they needed his help and b) it was the right thing to do.

tl;dr At the end of Winter Soldier, Steve and Sam are the two people that Natasha can trust (besides Clint, but he wasn't in that movie so he doesn't count right now). I think they'd also be the only people she'd ever let see her be vulnerable. All her covers are blown, assholes on Capital Hill are talking about locking her up, and she just helped take down her employer, so she's definitely in a vulnerable place. I'd love to see Sam and Steve being there for her in whatever capacity she'll let them and then she slowly lets them in more and more.

Okay I have a few different ideas here:
1) An AU where Eddie doesn't die. Maybe along the lines of the very beginning of the season 2 premiere. I'd love to see how they navigate this unconventional relationship and if/how it affects Barry and Eddie's working relationship. Bonus points for Joe threatening Eddie over what will happen if he hurts their kids.
2) Eddie does die, but Barry runs far enough back in time and is able to figure out a way to defeat Reverse Flash that doesn't require Eddie's sacrifice. Does he tell Iris and Eddie about changing the timeline - again - or does he keep that to himself? What ramifications does that have?
3) They were an established threesome when Eddie dies. Barry and Iris are both grieving and trying to figure out what that means for them relationship-wise when *poof* Earth-2 Eddie shows up. Did he have the same relationship with Earth-2 Barry and Earth-2 Iris? Was he with just Earth-2 Iris? Or just Earth-2 Barry? Or did he not know them at all? Do Iris and Barry try to make Earth-2 Eddie their replacement Eddie?

I love how these two were canon without it becoming the main focus of the show. They set the stage from Jack's very first episode and never explicitly stated when they actually became a couple. Your interpretation of when and how that happened would be awesome.

Alternatively, the struggle of maintaining a professional relationship while also having a romantic one would be interesting to look at. Especially since I'm pretty sure Adam knows about them.

A Claire-lives AU would also be awesome. It obviously wouldn't be all sunshine and roses, but I'd like to think they could make things work in the long run.

Cyrus Lupo/Connie Rubirosa

The season 19 episode Knock Off is when I first started shipping these two. He essentially got arrested protecting her honor from that farce of a small-town police department. There's also a few gems from season 18 - when they went undercover as a couple and when they were both team "figure out the truth" instead of team "throw Ed under the bus" in Burn Card.

Using any of those as a launching pad would be awesome. Alternatively, maybe a cute little scene where she helps him study for law school. Or maybe something post-series after Lupo's finished law school. Feel free to ignore the travesty that was Law & Order Los Angeles temporarily relocating her to Los Angeles - I do.

This is a relationship I don't see starting until after they're no longer working together. So Lupo has to balance entering into a relationship with Ed and working with one of the detectives that investigated Ed. I'd love to see something exploring this.

This is a pairing I hadn't actually considered until I had it for a challenge, and I found myself liking it. Knock Off is a good launching pad episode for this pairing as well. What did exactly happen in that hotel room in Dargerville after Mike made Lupo do all the hard work on that application for the judge.

Mike helping Lupo with law school stuff could also work here, but I imagine Mike's tactics would be different than Connie's. Post-series stuff could work here too. Mike being the SVU Bureau Chief in SVU season 13 is a piece of canon I did accept into my personal head canon.

Mike Cutter/Jack McCoy

Jack/Mike is definitely my favorite Law & Order pairing. I love the way they butt heads, but still obviously have respect for each other. I've been rewatching the last three seasons (for at least the fifth time) and there are so many little moments that make it seem so obvious.

A few bits of my headcanon for this pairing that you can use or not:
1) Jack was with Claire before Mike, since I ship both pairings
2) Claire and Mike were best friends back in the day as they were about the same age and some of Mike's comments indicate that he was there while Adam was still the boss. I imagine their relationship to be similar to Mike & Connie's. (this could also be included in a Jack/Claire fic if you want to go that way)
3) Connie knows about Jack & Mike before they tell her. And when they do tell her, she makes sure they know that she already knew.

A few possible plot ideas:
1) Jack and Mike are already in a relationship when season 18 starts. How do they navigate going from just colleagues that are dating to Jack becoming Mike's boss? What sort of impact does this have on their relationship?
2) Using Mike giving Jack the tie pin and the end of the episode after the police riot as a launching point for them starting a relationship. Even on ebay, that couldn't have been cheap for Mike to buy.
3) Any sort of look at their relationship outside work.
4) In SVU season 13, Mike refers to "the new DA" which implies that Jack is no longer the DA. How would their relationship be different once they are no longer working together? Assuming that Jack is retired (SVU season 13 would have been the halfway point of a four year term - I did the math), would he try to live vicariously through Mike by talking shop at home?

I'd really love to see something set between the NCIS season 6 episodes that served as the backdoor pilot and Callen returning to work at the start of season 1.

I literally started shipping these two during the backdoor pilot, which is obviously before we knew that Sam has a wife and family. If you choose to write this pairing either a) pretend they don't exist, b) make it so Sam and his wife is split up, or c) make it an open marriage situation where Sam's wife is aware of and okay with his relationship with Callen. I'm not a big fan of infidelity.

The way Wolfgang was totally chill with everything during the orgy makes me think that wasn't the first time he'd been with a guy. Was it a one-time thing and they went back to just bffs after, or was there more too it? If there was more to that, how do Wolfgang's feeling for Kala affect them?

Something set when Felix wakes up would be awesome to. From an instagram video from the first table read of season 2, I know that we haven't seen the last of Felix.

Okay so at the time of writing this, I've only seen the first two episodes of season 2, but I fell in love with Ana the instant she appeared on screen. If you're going to focus on just her in the story, instead of the Jarvises as couple, maybe something about her life in Budapest before the war. Or her bonding with Peggy. Neither of them is a typical woman of their time.

If you want to go the couple route, I'd love to see the beginning of their relationship explored in more detail. Or if you're in a smut writing mood - 9pm is awfully early to go to bed.

Peggy Carter
Peggy/Steve pretty much epitomizes the tragic love story. At this point everyone thinks that Steve is dead and that's something that Peggy has to deal with. I'd love to see that explored in more detail.

I adore Peggy and Angie's friendship and I'm bummed that I can't really see how she could be a significant part of season 2. I'd love to see something post-season 1 exploring their friendship, as it ended with Peggy and Angie moving into one of Howard Stark's homes.

While I don't ship Peggy & Sousa, I do like them as friends. During season 1, he was really the only one that respected her instead of treating her like a glorified secretary. I'd love to see that friendship explored now that they're both in California.

For her to be Chief of Security at while undercover Hydra, she clearly was trusted by some powerful people and probably witnessed a lot of horrible things, and maybe even had to do some herself to maintain her cover. It would be interesting to see that in more detail.

Alternatively, I'd love to see what she (and Hunter) have been up to since they had to resign from SHIELD since ABC decided not to pick up their spin-off.

I'd love to see a snippet of Jemma's time undercover with Hydra. It couldn't have been an easy time for her.

I adore Fitz and Simmons and bffs for life, but I don't ship them. Backstory fic about their friendship would be awesome.

Maria Hill
I'd love to see backstory fic for Maria. She's already Deputy Director when we first see her and I've love to see how she worked her way up to her position. As evidenced by Ward stating "A lot of us lost respect for Fury when he picked you as his second. If he wanted eye-candy around, he could have at least picked Romanoff." to her face, Maria clearly doesn't get the respect she deserves from her position because of her gender. It would also be interesting to see how she deals with that.

Since the show did ultimately reveal Abigail's fate to us, something exploring her life between her disappearance and her death would be awesome.

It would be interesting to see how that played out. Presumably Angelica was already married to John Church, but considering that she was in love with Alexander, I'm not sure that she'd let a little thing like having a husband stop her (aka one of the few times I'm okay with infidelity). Or you can just make it an intellectual thing - after all Angelica did day "And when I meet Thomas Jefferson, I'm 'a compel him to include women in the sequel!"

Elizabeth "Eliza" Schuyler
Poor, poor Eliza. She lost Peggy and Philip in 1801 (based on real history - the musical makes it before the election of 1800), Alexander in 1804, and Angelica in 1814. Eliza herself lived until the ripe old age of 97, dying in 1854. I'd love to see a look at her life during the fifty years she outlived her husband, especially the things she mentioned in "Who Live, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story." I'm okay with muddling the musical and actual historical timelines a little. The youngest two Hamilton children were conceived during the time between the Reynolds Pamphlet and Philip's death (Eliza was pregnant when Philip died), so real Eliza presumably forgave Alexander faster than musical Eliza did.)

How did she infiltrate STRIKE with nobody noticing.

I think it would also be interesting to see something from her POV when Steve gives the order to blow the helicarriers even though he's still on one of them.

During Winter Soldier, Nat managed to put on stylish clothes and straighten her hair after they showed up at Sam's. I'd love to see that explained - especially why Sam has a flat iron.

I'd love to see something from Sharon's point of view from when she's first assigned to protect Steve. As a Carter, I'm assuming she heard stories about Steve Rogers the man and not just Captain America as she was growing up. What was her thought process about having to lie to Steve about who he was - concealing not only her true identity but also her relation to Peggy. When Steve asked after Peggy's funeral, she told him that she never told Peggy about this assignment, not wanting her to have to keep it secret from Steve, so it would also be interesting to see something relating to that.

Even though we don't see it, we know there is some interaction between Sharon and Steve between Winter Soldier and Civil War. When she speaks at Peggy's funeral, Sam is the one that recognizes her first. And that was literally the first scene the two had ever been in together, so obviously they had met each other off-screen. So what I would love to see is a look at what Sharon was doing the past two years. You can bring her interactions with Steve and Sam into it or just leave it with her.

At some point, someone's going to realize that Sharon is the one that gave Steve and Sam their gear back. And that is potentially very bad for both job security and her freedom. So show me what she's up to after that scene. Does she go on the run too? Does she go back to Berlin and try to cover up the evidence? She also told Steve where to find Bucky, so depending on whether or not she gets found out before or after they know Zemo set Bucky up, she could be in some real deep shit if Ross gets his hands on her.
