Have any of you thought about these kinds of things? I'm sure a some people have thought about their future, even if it wasn't for long or deeply about it. [Today is a great day - no, today is probably the best day she's had in a month. Despite the horribly hot conditions of the day, Winry strikes gold in the smithy. A piece of a certain someone 's armor has arrived and she's taken to inspecting the thing! And oh, will she have fun. After taking her time inspecting it she'll be finding various dirty substances (grease, oil, soot from the forge), and dirty piece up. Once that's finished she'll draw a message on the piece (like one word draw/write in dust) of armor. It says:

"Nice stuff you have here, but kind of dirty isn't it? I also decided not to make you that pie.
-Winry."

When that's finished she'll set it down for the day, leaving and alert Tony over the journals.]

Mr. Stark, what you have asked me to look out for is waiting for you in the smithy. Feel free to pick it up anytime.

[And with that she's headed out of the smithy! So Tony can just have fun with that. Also feel free to run into Winry on her way home, or her various stages of armor-fun.

[Returning back from their mallynapping are Haruhi and Winry. They first wake up in a classroom inside the school, with the new feather dress as their uniform. After their meeting in the school the two - now young - girls head out into the plaza. Despite the rain the two continue to explore the town, and can even be found splashing around in the fountain. Approach them at your own risk, or beware. They may run over to harass you for information, splash you with fountain water or a nearby puddle, or even make faces at you if you ignore them. Watch out, Luceti. The girls are storming the village.

Hey everyone, have you heard of automail yet? It's a state of the art prosthetic limb that is attached to ones nerves to make it perform like a full functioning arm! Admittedly it's not for everyone because the installation surgery is intense, but those have automail say that the convenience is worth it! I know not many of you are lacking limbs, but for those who are I suggest looking into it. If there are any questions I'll answer them here.

[As per usual anyone can catch her at the smithy, but Winry can also be found browsing the item shop today. One can find some nifty things in there if they just browse. In particular she'll be looking for a phonograph and some records, but she won't be disappointed if she doesn't find them. She's never really in there often enough to know the range of things that do and do not show there.]

[Everyone seemed so down by the draft, but Winry just couldn't be. You have to have faith in your fellow Lucetians, right? Surely they are skilled enough. They have to be. She believes in them. Honestly her bright outlook comes from the understanding that Haruhi and she have come to about their relationship. Everything seem to fit. Everything seemed to be in its place. No more wondering about what kind of awkward could slip in and break apart their bond. No more. Now she felt closer than ever, and she couldn't feel better.

So today, with her oozing good feelings all over the place, she'll be getting a few things done:
→ Jack Sparrow will be visited by his boat at the lake, and she'll have the vest he ordered.
→ House 55 will get a few knocks on their door. She needs to apologize to Raphael after all.
→ House 46 will also be dropped in on. She needs to settle things with Terry. If he's not there? Or if he's sleeping in? Well. There's always some other day.

Finally she can be caught at the smithy or between her visits. It must be odd to see one girl smile so much in the face of the looming fight.]

[Backdated to about four in the afternoon, a girl is returned from her kidnapping. She is returned during the heavy snow, and on the rim of the fountain. As she begins to realize she's back her balance wavers, and she falls backward.]

A-AH! [After a short descent into the fountain she breaks through the layer of ice and into the frigid water. However when Winry surfaces the voice that sputters and cries out how cold it is, isn't female. But she's too busy to focus on that now. Scrambling for the edge Winry does her best to pull herself out of the fountain. On lookers will not see the female mechanic, but a soaked blonde boy slowly turning blue from freezing.

ooc | Winry's mallynap effect is that she turns male whenever she is splashed with cold water, and returns to female when doused with warm water. I will be replying with automale as an icon journal for when her body is male.]

[In the morning → Winry can't seem to seem to sleep in the way she likes because there are so many people around, and they make so much noise. She's in her kitchen warming up milk for hot chocolate, but that doesn't mean people can't just walk (or pop) in. The door is unlocked and simply appearing is all well and good.

In the afternoon → The nose continues, maybe even louder now that more people are awake. Time and time again she tries to sit down at the smithy and concentrate on her work. However with the loud din of voices she can't focus. Angry, and just needing to scream in frustration (over the noise and situation in general), she goes to the smithy entrance so that she may holler at the crowd in the plaza:]

Would all of you just shut up for five minutes?! I'm trying to work!

Time flies, doesn't it? And as you grow and change He stays the same. Get up and go to work Winry. No excuses girl. It's not snowing, although there are leftovers from the day before. Winry trudges through the snow, making her way to the smithy. Feel free to catch her while she makes her trip to work, or while she's there.

Late Morning / Early Afternoon → In the clothing shop one can find her looking for clothes that better suit the cold weather that's going to be coming up. While browsing through racks of clothes she starts to hum this. One can also catch her flipping through a few racks of things she normally wouldn't look at, such as maid outfits and frilly things. If anyone asks her about it, she will deny everything. ~~It has nothing to do with Haruki, shush.~~
Mid-Afternoon / Early evening → She'll be in the smithy waiting for Vash to show up. He has a tune up today! Anytime before or after that she will be organizing a large box of scattered parts.
After Dark → Winry will be sitting at the fountain, running her hands through the cold water while she thinks. After an hour or so of that she'll head home and throw up a voice post.]

Screaming can be heard from the lake. Not screams of help, but shouts of anger. A whole lot of noise is being made from one girl. If one sees her they'll notice her rage is also being taken out in the form of skipping - well no - chucking rocks into the lake. Sooner or later Winry's energy will wear thin, but for now she feels the need to vent.]

How dare you, you liar! [splash!] You said you wouldn't leave! You told me!

[Tears stream down her face as she picks up another rock. Anyone is welcome to find her to yell at her for disturbing the peace, or even just watch her fall apart. She'll mostly be there all day and start walking to House 23 by sundown.]

[Some may find her sitting in a creepy, gnarled, wooden bench outside of the smithy. Avoiding the cobwebs that hang from both sides of the ends, Winry sits smack dab in the middle. She wears this get up, looking all too unhappy about it. Go ahead and bother her.]

[Winry's return to the village was quiet, and happened about a day ago. The overcast sky was uninviting, although her return brought good news for the rest of Luceti. The villainous Pride had been sent home. Despite the good fortune such a thing brought the residents of Luceti, Winry was disheartened. Yet another person from home sent back. Was this how Al felt after being here for so long? Always left behind? Or maybe she should be worried about being sent home next?

Today however it's raining, and Winry tosses these thoughts aside to fall back in her daily routine. Sometime after noon she walks outside with an umbrella, and her ~~trusty sidekick~~ ~~escort~~ dog, Den. The two exit House #23; heading up the rode riddled with puddles to the plaza. Winry intends to head to the smithy, but half way there she has to stop. An ominous 'click click click' noise comes out of her dog's automail leg. The girl sits on a wet bench, and holds her hand out for Den to 'shake.' The mechanic proceeds to inspect his leg. Maybe a rock got stuck in there.
While Winry checks out Den's leg she wonders what has happened while she was gone. There's a tense feeling in the air, and she can't quite make out why.

[Today during the storm you can catch Winry in one of two places. Sometime after lunch she can be found in the smithy taking a nap on Sokka's spiffy couch. She was up all night last night, so some sleep is nice. She might wake up in a bit to help any New Feathers acquire their weapons or work on her own little projects. However after a few hours of that she'll head home early.
The second place is at House Twenty-three. If you walk down the path to C6 you can see her at her bedroom window. She may look bored, but she's thinking. Thinking like she had been all night. Her breath fogs up the glass, and occasionally she'll draw little numbers and letters that may make no sense. But for her they are compositions of alloys and percentages of the different metals. Finally she'll do what she had been thinking about for the better part of two days. She opens her journal, and begins to write:]

Residents of Luceti I have some information I think you all should know. Not too long ago a little boy named Selim Bradley from my world arrived.

But he's not just a little boy. He is a homunculus that goes by the name of Pride. Some of you may remember this from [...] Some of you may remember Ed's announcement about him when Pride first left Luceti. He's still pretending to be an innocent child, so I suspect he doesn't know we're aware of what he really is. I caution whoever encounters him. He may look sweet, but I've met homunculi before, and they are dangerous. Apparently last time he was here he hurt people, and threatened them.

Do not try to confront him. Homunculi from my world can be killed multiple times and not die. Pride will be staying in house twenty-three for those of you who want to avoid him.

[It all happened so fast. She had only wanted to help him. Instead now she lies on the dirt road in a puddle of her own blood. Winry can't move, she can't even turn herself over. The red liquid stains her clothes and hair, spreading like an infection. The best the girl can do is turn her head so the steadily growing puddle doesn't choke her. Pain throbs through her body, almost blocking out the desperate questions she silently asks herself: Will someone find her? Will she survive?

So after this Winry is kind of dying in between the smithy and House 23. Someone help a girl out? Oh yeah, and don't step in that puddle of blood. Could stain your shoes, y'know.]

[Winry's up by those Sakura trees again, trying to contact Nala now that everything is... not quite normal, but settled down. However she's still having trouble. Why won't that spirit talk to her?! Maybe Nala is still recovering from all the Doomsday crap Luceti was put through. But still! It's been a few days now! Why was Winry being ignored!? She was told Nala was supposed to be easy to talk to! Frustrated the girl finds a small rock. She kicks it, and it goes flying. Off to where? She doesn't know or care at the moment. If you're passing by that area it might just hit you on the head, so watch out!
She'll pace between these trees before whipping out her journal and making a voice post.]

Has anyone else had trouble contacting the Spirits since the earthquake?

Oh, and Miss Celty! Your bike is finished. You may pick it up at the smithy, although I'm not there today. I left it leaning on the couch if you stop by there.

[Also later in the day she'll stop by House 55, and peek through a window to check on the guys. She hasn't seen any of them since before the quake, and she's worried. But at the same time she doesn't want to bother them. If something was up they'd let her know... right?]

The girl knows the trees are most likely done blooming, but she didn't want to head toward the lake. Once at her final destination she'll observe the trees a bit before writing in her journal.]

[Stay occupied, stay occupied. Desperately Winry's been trying to throw herself so far into her work so that she may forget about everything. Normally this isn't hard, but a handful of things have been weighing heavily on her lately. Between Ed's announcement about Pride, Donatello's odd behavior, and her attempts to ignore the war, this girl has started to become a bit of a wreck. While working on that lock for Batman, she ended up burning herself when she tried to handle metal that she didn't allow to cool long enough. Late at night she'll give this public voice:]

When would you consider experimental science to be taken too far? Where's the line?

[After that's done she'll work straight through the night into very early morning. Just before the sun begins to rise Winry will fall asleep on the couch. She uses her dirty apron as a pillow. Her arm hangs off the side, and her fingers are bandaged. Feel free to find her, smithy-buddies.]
