Alright.. I have a big announcement to make. I'm not good with these sorts of things so I'm just going to come out with it....
Yes. I'm serious.
Me and Jason are getting married.
We're planning on next October, before Halloween. Exact day hasn't been figured out yet (I'm thinking the 22'nd, our anniversary day).
Right now everything's new and we still have plenty to talk about. Haven't figured out a theme yet, if we want to do a Halloween-theme or more of a traditional one. Personally, neither of us are "conventional" and we love Halloween so it'd be a perfect fit. And everyone could dress up in a costume instead of dressing up in suits and dresses.
Attendance is just going to be our close family and friends. We don't have a lot of money so we'd rather just keep it small and personal. The ceremony and reception are both going to be at his parent's house, it's so incredibly beautiful out there. Plus we're able to get kinda loud at the reception since there aren't many people on their block. One of the other houses have parties about every weekend anyway.
I know who I want to be my bridesmaids, one of them (
besubesu) has already said yes. I'll be asking the other two when I get the chance.
Found a few nice dresses online but I'm really excited about going to actual bridal boutiques and being able to try dresses on. I know I'll have to have it tailored, it's hard enough finding regular clothes to fit my small size and frame.
Wasn't planning on inviting anybody online to be honest. Unless you want to come to Michigan yourself. We're not paying for anything but we'll make sure you have a place to crash with some cool ass people to hang out with. The only people I think/hope/know will come I'm asking to be my bridesmaids anyway.
