Cricut Shrink Jewelry

SUPPLIES

• Cutting Machine – Joy, Joy Xtra, or any full-size model – Tip: you can cut by hand but it takes soooo long lol.
• Clear Shrink Plastic – 8×10 inches or larger is good but you can get away with 5×8 inches or close to it
• Strong Grip Mat or tape to tape down your piece but it could cause lifting of your design.
• Solvent or oil-based ink like Staz-On or Ranger Archival
• Patterned stamps: an assortment of patterns or a few stamps you can create a pattern with optionally just draw instead.
• Permanent marker(s)– at least one for marking or more for coloring
• Optional: Oil-based or acrylic paint pens
• Jewelry findings -jump rings, earring studs and/or hooks, clasps
  Tip: make sure it is nickel-free unless you like green skin
• Jewelry tools: at least a bent nose & needle nose pliers
• Optional: UV resin & UV Light: Tip look at the reviews and make sure they have sold at least 50 or more. Do not buy if anyone mentions yellowing. Kits usually have jewelry findings included too. You will also want a silicon tip brush or toothpicks to help move resin around and a lighter or heat gun to help pop bubbles.
• Heat Gun, Toaster Oven, or regular oven Tip: be careful if using a full-on heat gun and have something to protect your surface.
• Tweezers or something to hold your shrink plastic down while heating with a heat gun.
• Paper cutter or scissors to cut down shrink plastic to fit the mat.
• Optional: SVG files are provided on the workshop page under the project photo.
• Optional: Ruler or we will use the cricut mat to measure
• Scale tool
