The Beauty and Breadth of NC State Research

Blake Kennedy, Clay Studio Manager, received a 1st place award in the Faculty/Staff Microscopy division of the 2025 Envisioning Research Contest. “Universal Porcelain” is one of a series of images created as part of an on-going project titled, “Material Landscapes: Ceramics at the Intersection of Art, Science, and Education.” This project is a collaboration between Dr. Jacob Jones, faculty member in Material Science and Engineering, and Blake Kennedy.
