Stanley the toolbox<\/p>\n

Was filled with tools you know<\/p>\n

Left in the back of his foreman\u2019s truck<\/p>\n

And parked next to a backhoe<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Stanley the toolbox<\/p>\n

And all the tools he held inside<\/p>\n

Worked hard each day in so many ways<\/p>\n

In their work they took such pride<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There must\u2019ve been some evil<\/p>\n

In the bad guys\u2019 minds that night<\/p>\n

For when they spied the truck alone<\/p>\n

They had nary a fright<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Across the yard the crooks did run<\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Stealing tools just for fun<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Stanley the toolbox<\/p>\n

And the truck that he called home<\/p>\n

Were driven in haste, quickly through the gate<\/p>\n

When his truck was dumped and left alone.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Stanley the toolbox<\/p>\n

Watched in anger and some shock<\/p>\n

As his friends Makita, Dewalt and Bosch<\/p>\n

Appeared on Craigslist, up for hawk!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Stanley the toolbox<\/p>\n

Was relieved when recalling the day<\/p>\n

That his owner marked \u00a0his toolbox friends<\/p>\n

To keep them from going astray.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Stanley\u2019s friends were recovered that day<\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Thumpity, thump, thump<\/p>\n

Due diligence paved the way!<\/p>\n
