I create graphic design tutorials on YouTube where I demonstrate how to design logos, icons, and various other graphics.<\/p>\n<p>Some of my subscribers started suggesting that I put together some kind of course where I go through all of the tools one by one and explain what they are.<\/p>\n<p>After procrastinating about it for a while (it&#x2019;s a daunting task!) I finally decided to do it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_did_you_decide_to_create_an_online_course_in_the_first_place\"><\/span>Why did you decide to create an online course in the first place?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Because my subscribers requested it, it seemed like a great way to provide value while generating additional income for myself.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Did_you_have_any_moments_of_doubt_before_you_createdlaunched_it\"><\/span>Did you have any moments of doubt before you created\/launched it?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Absolutely! First of all, it&#x2019;s a lot of work. You&#x2019;re taking a big risk just by building your course because you don&#x2019;t know for sure if people are going to want it. A course that people are willing to pay for is a digital asset that pays in perpetuity.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What%E2%80%99s_your_online_course_like\"><\/span>What&#8217;s your online course like?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>My course consists of a series of video lessons where I record my screen as I demonstrate how a given tool or feature in the software works.<\/p>\n<p>There&#x2019;s a video for each tool and feature. The videos are categorized into modules and have optional multiple-choice questions at the end of each.<\/p>\n<p>There is a comments section under each lesson where you can ask questions if you need help. I sign in every morning to answer questions.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_long_did_it_take_you_to_create_your_course\"><\/span>How long did it take you to create your course?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It took me several months to create my course because I had to record and edit over 60 videos.
