I initially found this endeavor extremely difficult and often at times demoralizing. Cold out-reach is one of the easiest ways to get started but without a solid plan or understanding, multiple rejections from other site owners can be enough to put you off trying to build links for good.<\/p>\n<p>After undergoing some courses of my own and following some industry big wigs on podcasts, webinars, and YouTube, I finally started to see how an outreach system could be developed, not only successfully but also on a budget. Within a few months, I managed to build several links to my website at minimal effort and at a very low cost. I also found in a number of Facebook groups a key target demographic with which this particular method resonated.<\/p>\n<h2>What&#x2019;s the biggest benefit of taking your course?<\/h2>\n<p>My course is a complete over-the-shoulder video guide that teaches a bulletproof method anyone can implement in order to successfully win backlinks. It seemed like a no-brainer to hit the record button and help out some fellow bloggers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Did_you_have_any_moments_of_doubt_before_you_createdlaunched_it\"><\/span>Did you have any moments of doubt before you created\/launched it?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Initially, I was extremely skeptical to create the course as I did not believe I had enough experience and credibility. However, when looking at the problem my course solved and the target audience to which I was aiming, I realized that this perhaps was not a major issue. I actually turned the focus on myself and actually asked the question &#8216;is this a course I would pay for&#8217;? I made the decision that it was and got to work immediately.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What%E2%80%99s_your_online_course_like\"><\/span>What&#8217;s your online course like?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>My course is almost exclusively <a href=\"https:\/\/coursemethod.com\/video-record-yourself-powerpoint.html\">video narration over PowerPoint presentations<\/a> interspersed with live screen capture.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_long_did_it_take_you_to_create_your_course\"><\/span>How long did it take you to create your course?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Well, interestingly enough a timeline for the completion of my course was somewhat of a happy accident. True to the nature of the course itself being budget-friendly I was fortunate enough to receive a six-month trial for the Loom enterprise screen record capture platform. This meant that I had six months to record over 12 hours of video content; whilst working a full-time job. It was many late nights but I managed to get it done in the allotted time.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tell_us_a_little_about_the_process_of_launching_your_course_and_getting_your_first_sales\"><\/span>Tell us a little about the process of launching your course and getting your first sale(s).<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I launched my course live on my site almost immediately as I was able to snag a lifetime AppSumo deal for the Spayee course platform. The audience for the personal finance site does not have an inbuilt target audience. I knew this going in and had already decided upon alternative routes to market; including AppSumo itself. I was fortunate enough to get accepted into their program and my course was listed after a couple of weeks. I managed to land my first sale within a few days.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Do_you_have_a_lead_magnet\"><\/span>Do you have a lead magnet?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I am not currently using a <a href=\"https:\/\/coursemethod.com\/?p=22335\">lead magnet<\/a>, however, I do promote a fellow bloggers&#x2019; SEO course which offers an extremely lucrative rate of commission.
