I wish that people were more genuine. I feel like I've been fooled, or misled into relationships with people who have no care for me. There's just alot that I'd like to say to people, but it's frustrating because I know they won't bother to listen.

I've been feeling weird lately. I've been affected pretty deeply by some deaths of people that I hardly knew-acquaintances. Or I don't know if deeply affected describes it well-to me death seems like a shallow pit that just ends in abrupt darkness. As much as I distrust any religion, I feel like I need to understand or come to terms with mortality. I don't know, I might just be unbalanced because I haven't exercised thanks to the downpours of rain 24/7!
I've also been feeling out of place-within my family, my few groups of friends, just in general. And I don't think it's just socially, it bigger than that. I feel like I don't connect to people. The worst part of it is that I don't really feel a huge need to connect or reconnect with people. I'm pretty content being solo. I don't know if that means something is wrong with me or what, because it seems to be pretty opposite to everyone else.
I'm just really confused right now. I don't think my qualms will be quieted soon, I feel like my life has to change a good deal first. I guess I'll see.

Ive been gone for what feels like a long time, literally out of the country too. the past three months seemed like a huge leap for me. A leap in age, maturity, experience, knowledge, love, determination, and so much more. And now I feel like I've been harnessed or pulled back. I feel like i was so far ahead of everyone else, and of the person that I used to now myself as, and now I'm restrained, I'm plopped back into the same stuff I was in before I left. And I'm unsatisfied. There are no challenges here. i was exercizing like a mad woman when i got back, but a series of unlucky injuries has pretty much dampened that idea of a challenge for at least another week, which translates to a few pounds not yet lost. I don't know if I'm just bored or what...I just hope that my boredom doesn't lead to temptations.
And the people. I don't know how to relate to people anymore. Well, there are few who i will always be able to know, no matter what we've been through, but that's because i've known them since fifth grade. I already want to leave santa barbara again, but not forever. I don't think i'll ever be able to leave sb forever. the people who i truely care about are the ones who I'll always know, and I'm not scared of lossing them while I'm away, because they're the kind of people who check in with you evevn if you tell them not too. I also have these urges to try new things, but everyone has these expectataions of me to d certain activities, like I'm not allowed to stray and explore. god I just want out already. At the same time I'm angry and sad because some of the poeple i adore and want to still know have grown so far apart, they're not necessarily different people, it's the opposite, they're exactly the same as when i left, but i'm beyond them i feel like. They are also expecting certain things of me and are so restricting in their friendships. Like if you don't have this one interest anymore, then you can't even say hello to them or something. I'm really strating to believe that i am one of those people who is rarely compatible with others, I don't know if I'm socially retarded or what, but i always get in wierd situations with people....and sometimes i would prefer just not to know them....or to be ale to remeet them.
Anyway i have the need to see soo much more of the world, and meet people who are more accpeting than the people i know here. Or at least i want to meet people who are willing to experience different cultures, and just different perspectives. I want to grow badly as a person, until i don't know when, unitl I'm satisfied. And i don't want social rules to apply to my own journey....I want to be free to gain knowledge however I like. And i don't want anyone to expect very much of me. You can expect me to still be a kind, good, and respsonsible individual, but i don't wish to be tied down by much more. No more of fitting into categories.....it makes me sick to think of what i gained while away, and so soon again lost in the time I've been back.

which i am rather sad they're doing, because they won't be able to fit everything in, and i fear that if it does get produced and etc, and i veiw it, that it will alter my perception of the book. And I will also be mad, because they will certianly not do movies of the whole series, and that will make me sad-to only see part of the story portaryed differently than I experinced it-not all of the story.

well, I can't really remeber where I left off....

The people my family hosted had their goodbye dinner, Ariana came too, because I wanted her to see them perfrom. There choir is so amazing. We bought all of their Cds. And Alex, he sang to us last night. He jus said that he wanted to sing to us, and we were like, uh, okay. And it was so cool. he has a really good voice, and it was very brave of him-I don't think I'll ever be able to stand up in front of anyone and sing. And he did in front of people he hardly knows. It was so amazing. I think I am going to base one of the characters in my story about him. Then I went to the beach this morning with Ariana, she spent the night, and we sat for like two hours making drip cstales I think I was to asleep to talk. Then we came back home and watched Grease and pearl Harbor. And after that, I have just been sitting around, not even reading or writing, just nothing. I am going to abaysit at five o'clock. I haven't brushed my hair since I curled it, which was yesterday morning-that's just great, and hygenic. Oh, I went with Ariana, Topaz and hannah to Ross and boutgh some bras and some christams presents. got this really cool bebblu bath that's silver and in a big glass bottle. And this big candlestick holder and a candle to in/on it. And we also went to um...sears and I bought some garters. And I have been wearing them all over the house. My room is a mess....and yeah.
Maybe they'll come again next year. Or I might get over blood and gore by watching scary and epic movies and then study to become a doctor and then go assist all of the children in the orpahnage. That would be nice, I could go to South Africa, too. Help people with Hiv/Aids. But first I would go to that orphanage, and see if they recognize or remember me.

So fucking tired!!!! I thought that i wasn't, but then I got home, and i all dizzy and lazy. This sucks. I'm not gonna have any energy tonight.
I think that tristan is cute.
I didn't used to understand why Ariana liked rueben so much, he seemed stuck up and inconsiderate, but now as I hang around him more, he seems really sweet.
We should have a bonfir, not next weekend, but the weekend after that. invite the same people, maybe more too!fun.
I was so happy watching POTC last night, I was asleep during that first movie, and then I woke up in the middle of POTC, and I heard the music, and I sat up and was like YESSSS! I hummed to the musci allnitgh long!!! It felt like it'd been forver!
Adriana, I hope that you have alot of sugar at your house, cause I need some.
