Our goals for the Junior Kindergarten Program at Cornerstone Classical Christian Academy are simple. Our caring and highly trained staff will help prepare our scholars for the next step in their educational journey.
Instill scholars with a love for Christ by leading them into a loving and personal relationship with God by teaching Bible stories and daily devotions, morning and closing prayer, and weekly chapel to help children discover the art of faith language.
Scholars want and need to learn actual content. Currently, there’s a popular belief that since computers have made information accessible, people can just look things up. Therefore, why learn facts? Research reveals this is a fallacy. If one must look up a fact, complex thinking is much more difficult because the mind is now occupied with finding a fact, rather than higher level processing.
Equip scholars with the tools to access the written word as soon as possible and basic mathematical concepts and skills so they have a strong foundation going forward into higher math, thus equipping them to think in logical and complex patterns.
Studies have proven that memory is a muscle that grows stronger with use. Allowing children to begin exercising this muscle at an early age gives them an edge in life. Memorization items to strengthen this muscle include: poetry, songs, rhymes, Bible verses, scientific and historical facts, geography, and knowledge of the arts.

Every day is FULL of literature, foundational reading and math skills, songs, nursery rhymes, and poems, outdoor play, science, history, art, and Bible. And there is still plenty of time for free play and rest!
Located within Cornerstone Community Church, Cornerstone Classical Christian Academy offers a faith-based Pre-Kindergarten program and will follow Greeley-Evans School District-6’s calendar. The school day will be similar to the D-6 school day, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and the environment is both structured and nurturing. I’ve seen such a positive difference in her learning, confidence, and excitement to go to school every day. I’m so thankful we found this school—it has exceeded all my expectations. I am beyond grateful and thankful that my Bella have had the best experience of her 1st school experience. She loves coming home to tell us what she learned. She can count very high. She tells us about numbers. Alphabet and stories she has learned. I can tell you Ms Danielle is by far my favorite teacher that has taught one of my kids. Best decision we ever made ever.
We put our second child through Pre-K here and it was the best choose we ever made when it comes to our kids education. Danielle is an amazing teacher and prepares the kids so well for kindergarten. Our son is reading and writing already and is so far ahead of the game it’s mind blowing.
