Parashat Beshalach
Manna for the Soul
This past Shabbat, we read Parashat Beshalach. After crossing the Reed Sea, the people of Israel find themselves without an anchor as they travel about the wilderness. In this piece, which originally appeared on My Jewish Learning, I explore the role of the manna in the people’s ability to resource themselves inwardly and create greater resilience as they traversed the profoundly unknown.
You can read the piece here.
