Greetings,
As we begin the new fiscal year at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), we are proud to share our exciting projections for 2025–2026 fiscal year. With 185 planned events, we expect to welcome more than 2.3 million attendees and generate an estimated $5 billion in economic impact for Central Florida. These numbers reflect the strength of our industry and the continued trust our clients place in the OCCC as a premier destination for conventions, trade shows, sporting events and more.
Looking ahead to the upcoming quarter, the OCCC will host 43 events, welcoming nearly 650,000 attendees and generating an impressive $1.5 billion in economic impact for the region. Highlights from the quarter include:
-
The PGA Show 2026 is set to energize the Center in January with three days of activity, drawing in 32,000 attendees and delivering over $81 million in economic support to the community.
-
In February, the Center will welcome the co located 2026 Design and Construction Week, including the International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Together, IBS and KBIS are expected to bring more than 122,000 attendees to the OCCC and generate over $308 million in economic impact for Orange County. This powerful partnership showcases the full spectrum of residential construction, design and innovation, reinforcing the Center’s role as a premier destination for major industry events.
-
MEGACON Orlando 2026 closes out the quarter in March. Serving as one of the nation’s largest pop culture conventions, the event is set to welcome 160,000 attendees and contributed more than $405 million in economic impact to Orange County.
The Grand Concourse Expansion remains a cornerstone initiative for the Center’s future. On Dec. 17, 2025, we celebrated the groundbreaking of this transformative project, with construction scheduled to begin soon. This expansion will position the OCCC to deliver even greater economic impact, attract new global events, and strengthen Orlando’s role as a world-class destination.
Thank you to our customers, partners, staff, and stakeholders for their continued dedication and support. Together, we are building on a legacy of success and shaping an even brighter future for Orange County during this new year.
We wish you a prosperous and joyous New Year!
Sincerely,
