Since 1989, HFTP has produced a biennial Compensation and Benefits Survey and Report to help hospitality finance and technology professionals benchmark industry pay scales, bonus criteria, and benefits. This continuous record helps HFTP and its stakeholders track workplace trends year-over-year.
We rely on feedback from hospitality professionals like you. It is important to collect responses from a broad pool of industry professionals to develop the most accurate statistics on current salary, deferred compensation, bonuses, performance metrics, valued benefits, and more.
2026 Bonus Research: This year's survey also has an optional series of brief questions about use of AI in your workplace.
Please respond to this survey. Your input is essential to HFTP and its network. The deadline is April 8, 2026. All respondents will receive a copy of the report, which will be available in Summer 2026.

Hospitality Industry Urges End to Partial Government Shutdown as Travel Woes Mount |

U.S. RevPAR + 8.3% y/y last week; Pre-Easter pull-forward of demand, especially Business/Group travel | |
As Truist Securities wrote, "Overall, U.S. RevPAR was +8.3% y/y for the week ending 3/28/2026, per STR/CoStar, above the prior week's result of +4.9% y/y and the 10-week average of +3.1% y/y. Last week's results reflected in part the pull-forward of business/Group travel ahead of Passover/Easter as well as the holiday calendar shift. Easter moves to April 5th this year from April 20th last year. The first night of Passover moves to tonight from Saturday, April 12th. We see the pull-forward demand impact most evident in Group RevPAR (+21.7% y/y). The easy comp will mostly reverse in next week’s data set (the current week ending 4/4). Upscale RevPAR: +8.0% y/y; Upper Midscale RevPAR: +7.6% y/y."
