Thank you for joining us this week as we at the Baptist World Alliance pray for our global Baptist family and for God's work around the world. If you pray along with us weekly, you will pray for every country in the world in 2026.

Join us in giving thanks for the three-year journey of working on our Federation's vision, which came to fruition during the Annual Congress last May.

Prayer:

Pray for God to raise up more pastors as many congregations are currently seeking leadership.

Praise:

We give thanks that, even in seasons of hardship and transition, the Gospel continues to be preached, disciples are being formed, and people from many nations are encountering Christ through International Baptist Convention churches. We praise God for the unity of purpose and collaboration within the IBC Executive Leadership Team and Presidential Leadership Team as they begin a season of strategic planning to better serve and equip churches for disciplemaking and mission.

Prayer:

Pray for grace, humility, and love as IBC churches walk through areas of division and differing convictions. Ask God to deepen their unity in Christ while strengthening clarity, trust, and understanding.

Pray that as the IBC enters several months of prayerful strategic planning, God will guide every conversation and decision and that the outcomes will honor Christ and strengthen churches across the world.

Please join us also in prayer for the people of Monaco.

BWA Chair Karl Johnson Serves in Africa

We rejoice in the amazing hospitality extended to BWA Chair Karl Johnson as he served alongside Baptist leaders in Ghana, Benin, and Togo. We are especially grateful for the faithful leadership of Elias Apetogbo, BWA Regional Secretary for All Africa Baptist Fellowship, and for his partnership in advancing God’s mission across the continent.

We also give thanks for BWA Horizons Africa Region Director Koffi Kpomgbe whose support of Chair Johnson during his time in Togo strengthened ministry impact. Together, we are equipping leaders, sharing the Gospel, and impacting lives throughout Africa and beyond.

I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son,

that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger;

and I pray that you would keep me this day also from sin and every evil,

that all my doings and life may please you.
