During the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, YouTuber Alfred Montaner teamed up with our incredible Islamorada-based dealer, Seven Sports Marine, to put the Twin Vee 400 GFX2 to the ultimate test.
Heading out of a busy inlet into rough, snotty ocean chop, the boat proved exactly why Twin Vee is known for building the best-riding boats on the water. Powered by Quad 350 Yamahas, the 40-footer effortlessly hit 50 mph in heavy swells, delivering a buttery-smooth "flying carpet" ride that left Alfred absolutely blown away. The sea trial perfectly demonstrated the hull's exceptional stability and its ability to lean comfortably into tight turns, all while keeping the crew completely dry and secure.
Beyond the stellar on-water performance, Alfred's video offers a clear walkthrough of the features and value in our flagship model. Specifically, Seven Sports Marine highlighted the massive 750-gallon fuel capacity alongside the expansive, shaded deck space that serves as a comfortable, open-air salon.
From the four pressurized live wells and heavy-duty folding ladder to the fully plumbed head, the review brilliantly captures how Twin Vee delivers elite luxury and performance at a price point that aggressively undercuts the competition.

This week, we're bringing back Joseph's in-depth look at the differences between the Twin Vee GFX2 and STX boat models straight from the Twin Vee factory in Fort Pierce!
In the video, Joseph walks through the thoughtful design features that sets the GFX2 model line apart, including its integrated extruded aluminum top, a sleek black acrylic dash, and a premium three-tone sport upholstery package. He explains how the ergonomic seating, tailored glass windshield, interior liner mold, and a range of high-end stainless steel components create a luxurious, functional, and highly customizable boating experience. From the wide bow that feels like a 36-foot boat on a 26-foot platform, to clever details like raised toe kick compartments, fold-down stainless steel seating, and over 25 rod holders, the GFX2 is designed for both serious anglers and families who want top-tier performance and comfort.
He also highlights how the STX shares the same best-in-class Twin Vee hull and infused deck construction but is tuned for a more accessible price point. It skips some of the premium materials and electronics of the GFX2 but still delivers excellent fishability, generous deck space, and integrated features such as a stainless steel steering wheel, an optional live well, and flexible seating arrangements. The STX is a great fit for families, charter captains, and boat clubs looking for performance without the added luxury price tag.
