Community Wildfire Protection Plan Update

From Seth Schalet, Santa Clara County FireSafe Council CEO

The FireSafe Council and our partners have made much progress on our Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) since our prior update. Together with our partner, SWCA, and with input from the fire agencies, we have made progress on developing the CWPP Story Map that will visually display the projects throughout the various annexes in the plan. Also, we are convening our Advisory Board team on April 4th and April 5th for two full days—in person-of working on the various issues and decisions that need to be resolved and agreed upon as we move towards finalizing this update. We are appreciative of the guidance the Advisory Team has been providing and we anticipate two highly productive sessions in the first week of April.

Please continue to learn more about the project and as always, please visit our website to submit your questions.

Regards

Seth Schalet

CEO
