Greetings,

As we successfully wrap up the final quarter of this fiscal year at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), I’d like to take a moment to celebrate the powerful impact our clients, attendees and events had on Orange County. Our Center remains an industry trailblazer in conventions, trade shows and events, fueling remarkable regional growth and consistently delivering unforgettable experiences that resonate with guests and exhibitors alike.

From July to September, the OCCC buzzed with activity, successfully hosting 47 dynamic events that welcomed more than 566,000 attendees and generating an impressive $1.3 billion in economic impact for the Central Florida region. Among the many impactful events this quarter:

  • The record-shattering AAU Junior Volleyball National Championships took center stage in June and July, with 6,515 teams from around the globe competing over a 24-day period, setting record as the largest volleyball tournament ever held and delivering a staggering $782 million in economic support to the County.
  • In early August, the Assemblies of God 2025 General Council made a powerful return to the Center with more than 22,000 attendees, contributing roughly $56 million to our local economy.
  • Wrapping up the quarter, the OCCC welcomed The Clean Show, known as North America’s largest exposition for laundering, dry cleaning, textile care. With 16,000 industry professionals in attendance, the event generated a strong $40.6 million in economic impact.

Moving forward into the upcoming fiscal year, the OCCC’s Grand Concourse Expansion remains a key initiative – positioning the facility for a new and exciting period of transformational growth. The excitement is building as we prepare for the highly anticipated groundbreaking, scheduled for December 2025, with construction set to begin in early 2026. This visionary project marks a bold leap forward as the OCCC invests in a future that will elevate the destination, stimulate the economy and raise the Center’s global presence.

Thank you to our customers, partners, stakeholders and staff for the dedication and trust you have placed in the OCCC, leading to this year’s success. With your continued service, we look forward to an even brighter year ahead.
