According to Ms. Efimova, the Ambassador noted that trade between the U.S. and Russia could be greater, and that the two countries have common goals such as fighting terrorism, working on joint projects such as the space station, and strengthening democracy.
The Ambassador also expressed a hope that Russia would be represented more in the world of arts in the U.S., including performances and exhibits, said Ms. Efimova.
"This is a central goal of Russian Foundation of Chicago," she added.
