Briefing; After a conversation on the Verinet (where Xiaoyu gets thoroughly pissed), Xiaoyu and Ryohei meet up to train.
As usual, Xiaoyu's short temper got the better of her.
Standing on the edge of the training grounds, Xiaoyu crossed her arms over her chest in a huff, a foot tapping against the ground impatiently as she awaited for this 'Ryohei' guy to show up. Somewhere in the corner of her mind she knew she really didn't have a legitimate reason to be so worked up- he didn't mean to intentionally insult her. In fact, to anyone else it might not have seemed like an insult at all! But to Xiaoyu, his simple comment on how she 'doesn't sound like a fighter' felt like a sucker punch to her pride.
Her heel dug into the ground as she recalled his words.
So what if she might look and sound a bit younger than her actual age? People shouldn't be so quick to judge her! She had trained for years under her strict grandfather, taking each and every hit (but not without some whining and crying, she begrudgingly admitted.) Her skills had even earned her invitations to the exclusive King of Iron Fist tournaments- there was no denying that cute girls could hit hard, too!
Her almond eyes scanning the grounds impatiently, Xiao began to bounce on the balls of her feet, an attempt to channel the nervous energy that was already beginning to build in the pit of her stomach.
