The first day after a ritual was always a little trying. New faces, many of them confused and scared, running around in a panic. Samus could understand, she had been rather tense when she'd first arrived herself. And she had learned that being a calm, but firm presence was usually the best way to help. The sooner everyone got used to things, the sooner they got get ready for the battles ahead of them. That was just common sense.
So she went about as she always did, sitting at one of the cafeteria's tables and setting to work on her breakfast, wondering how long it would take someone to approch. There would be questions. There always were. And unlike General Aizen, she was more apt to at least try and be straightforward.
