I'll replace this with a more comprehensive description later, but for now:
I'm an illustrator, author, and editor who works on a lot of things, but one of the passion projects i'd like to finish is a book of queer potions & spells. They're all recipes you can actually do... provided you can find the unorthodox ingredients. But even if you might not cast them, reading them should still give you a feeling like magic: solidarity, community, confidence, and strength. I'm in love with this book (which is about 40% written and 0% illustrated, so i'm making progress!) and i am so grateful to anyone who helps me make it a reality.
Unless anyone wants their name removed, when i publish this, my supporters will all be listed (and cartooned...sort of) in a fun 2-page illustration that goes across the last pages.
FOR TRANSPARENCY, i want you to know that because i do so many things, sometimes my updates are later than i think they'll be. I freelance full-time, and sometimes my deadlines are sudden or the scope of work increases. If using a subscription to get early access or behind-the-scenes content is more transactional for you than it is "throw money at this thing that should exist and i'll be happy to see whatever comes of it," you should choose another creator to support. I'm the second kind of supporter, and i think you'll be happier with me if you are, too! ❥
