Hello, I'm ABRA. I'm a New Media Artist, who makes animated operatic visual albums telling stories about violence and the comforts upheld by it. These stories play out within narratives constructed through musical forms and the ways information is experienced in the age of the internet. These projects are released like albums; they are sent through the mail, streamed, and downloaded. Each version offers a choose your own adventure-style experience of the work.
Currently I'm working on two main projects:
�Buzzing Golem's Forbidden Land�
Type: 2D/3D animation/video game
Setting: A desert with buildings made of trash
Story: A golem, named AVENGER, is born from the blood of a corpse. Enraged by their creators death, AVENGER sets out on a revenge mission.
CLOSE TO YOU
Type: 2D/3D animated and livestreamed video series
Setting: Karaoke bars the litter the highways of the United States.
Story: A community of DRIFTERS aimlessly wander as they sing of they're longings.
