Computer Speed Optimizer 2.3
This application optimizes your computer speed by repairing registry errors
Program info
This application optimizes your computer speed by repairing registry errors. This action intends to significantly improve your computer performance and prevent crashes.
The interface is straightforward and mostly intuitive. Yet, I consider you should have advanced knowledge of computer usage since the program splits the system registry into four categories, some of them uncommonly named for ordinary users. For this reason, you may feel reluctant to enable one section since you don't know what benefit you'll get out of it.
The automatic scan for registry related errors is performed each time you open the utility. Once the process is over, you are provided with information related to invalid data references. They are all selected by default to be fixed, but you have the ability to uncheck those you want to keep. However, it is advisable to make a backup to registry before you take the decision to repair the errors; this way you prevent losing data in case the fixing procedure fails. In other words, if something goes wrong with the repairing process, you can restore data at a previous level.
What's more, the utility lets you defragment the registry; if performed periodically, such activity will improve the speed of your operating system. Similarly to other programs of the same type, you can configure a scanning schedule according to time intervals you prefer. In addition, you are able to set the tool to start scanning at Windows start-up or every time you open the application. More
Pros
- Can configure automatic scanning schedule
